2013 Learnings in Summary

  1. Girls will break your heart; it’s best to just pick yourself up and move on
  2. Keeping anger in you will slowly kill you – “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”
  3. Asking for apologies from someone is much harder to do than avoiding the need for the apology
  4. It’s okay if you failed at an endeavor, so long as you tried your best and learned from your mistakes
  5. Contrary to popular belief, I can go 5 days without Internet access or any gadgets
  6. Googling people (without their permission) is a little bit wrong
  7. Traveling is good for the mind and soul; even better if done alone
  8. It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes; who is gonna look out for your best interests if not yourself?
  9. Ask questions and always be curious; no questions are stupid questions
  10. Be selective of who you surround yourself with; stupidity travels by osmosis
