Branson

We took a three day weekend and headed to Branson with family.

The boys were able to head up early with Papa Cliff and Grandma Teresa to do a little sight seeing and to check out the fish hatchery.

Once we all arrived at Branson, we headed down to the pool for some relaxation time.

Although his head doesn't go under the water much, Carter still believes he needs to wear goggles at all times when hear the pool.

Emmarie and Kambria had fun with this little frog.

Image
The frog took a liking to Emmarie. Anytime someone else would hold it, it jumped off but with Emmarie it would hold on to her.

She makes a pretty cute frog model.

Saturday morning we woke up early and headed to Silver Dollar City. The weather was great, the lines were short, and we were with good company.  We couldn't have asked for anything better.

We started off the day with all the big roller coasters.  Klayton has always been our little daredevil, riding every ride he can, but this time Connor stepped out of his comfort zone, took a the plunge and rode Wildfire, Outlaw Run, and Barn Swing for the first time. After his second roller coasters he asked, "Why have I not done this before?"  I think we have another roller coaster lover.

The kids had a blast riding on River Blast while Jeff and Papa Cliff shot water at them from the side.

One of the best parts about this trip, Kambria is now 48 inches tall so her (and Emmarie) could ride without us.  While we waited we took the opportunity for a selfie.

The next day we just relaxed in the pools around the lodge:

The kids had fun checking out the pool inside, the hot tube, the lazy river, and the big slide outside:

June - This and That

Here's Junes this and that....
Image

Image
While Jeff was mowing the lawn one evening Carter stood by the front door.  Every time Jeff would come in view of Carter would yell at the top of his voice "HI DADDY." Once Jeff was finished I let Carter out the door and captured this. So sweet.

Image
We were given a train table.   I thought Carter would be the one to play with it, but these big kids love it too.  I can't get them to stop long enough to eat lunch.  How am I going to get Carter down for a nap?

These sweet cousins found each other during Stake Conference at church.

Carter's new thing....wearing everyone's shoes.

Image
Austin and Klayton showed up to piano lessons wearing the same shirt.  Great minds think alike. Great moms think alike too.

Playing in the sand at Sonic.

We just LOVE the new baskets at the public library.

Pillow Fight

Another activity marked off our bucket list, pillow fight.  Although it was fun, it wasn't nearly as successful as you see in the movies. I'm pretty sure the movies choreograph their fights to perfection, lol.  During our fight we had a few get hurt from hits that were too hard or fists actually hitting the person along with the pillow.  But we got it done and marked off our list.
