Drum Roll Please....

Baby #3 is a ...BOY!!! This was no surprise to us, but it's nice to really know. We are super excited, especially Spence who has his whole baby life planned out (mostly when it comes to baseball and basketball). I hope #3 likes sports!Image

Trick or Treat!

ImageThis was the last picture of the night after trick or treating around the block. The poor kids had been flashed by the carmera several times in an attempt to get them to smile, sit closer, hold still etc. Nothing was working so here's the result. The pic below was taken earlier in the day.
ImageHalloween was pretty low key around here. Spencer kept asking what Kyle and I would be for Halloween. Kyle told him a Daddy, and I said a pregnant mom, but I don't think he bought it. Since Spence took such notice and seemed to really care (he said once, "It's nice that Sailor's mommy dressed up for Halloween! That is fun mom...") I believe next year I'll put some effort into it.

Spence mentioned earlier on Halloween day that he didn't like to say trick or treat at the people, but by the end of the night he got the hang of it. Kelsi liked taking her sweet time when the candy bowl was offered and she got to choose one. She wouldn't decide, but just stare at it all with her hand hovering over it like any second she would choose something. Kyle or I went to the door nearly each time to keep it going. Our neighborhood was hopping with kids! It was crazy at times, but fun. I decided to bring the stroller for the kids incase we needed it. As it turned out Spence wanted to get in between each house and Kelsi loved to walk or run! Getting the kids in and out of the stroller in costume with their big old buckets was super annoying so I'd have to say that was a bad idea for most of the night. We told Spence to walk since the houses are so close together and many of the houses participated. It was nice Kyle could be there this year. I'm not holding on to much hope during 3rd and 4th yr. For the record Spence and Kelsi love dressing up and every day Kelsi has been bringing me the monkey suit so she can wear it around the house. I usually let her and after she gets it on she rocks slowly back and forth and says very quietly, "Ooh, ooh" in her best attempts at monkey sounds. It's the sweetest thing! Also I'm not sure how Spencer's love for Spiderman got started since he's never seen any show or movie. He found a Spiderman toy once at DI and insisted that we get it. That was about 6 months ago... Happy Halloween!

P.S. I'm feeling 90% better most of the time with this pregnancy! It has been very exciting to get some life back! I find out what we are having on the 15th. We both are thinking boy!
