Lincoln Turns Three!

ImageWe just celebrated Lincoln's third birthday! What better for a 3 year old than to introduce them to Silly String! It's still all over the yard! :) We had cake, presents, then did Silly String, and went to Chuck-E-Cheese where Lincoln won 500 tickets on the games and cashed them in for a large Koosh ball. Great birthday!!

Thomas the Train

Image
The Denver Railroad Museum is hosting the visit of Thomas the Train this month. We got a little preview of the event with this model built entirely of Legos. It was really amazing. The boys loved it.

'Jack'ed up leg

I was cutting a box and had built up quite a bit of pressure on the utility knife, which then slipped away from the box and found it's way to my thigh. It sliced it open pretty good! Andi became my nurse and cleaned it out, then super-glued it shut! Oh, yes, we did. We wrapped it up, found some crutches on Craigslist and I've been hobbling around ever since.

Ironically, this injury is just a few inches above a scar that I got doing a very similar activity with the same kind of knife when I was 15. Some people never learn!

Jackson's First Game!

ImageJackson just got back from his first professional baseball game!! He was overwhelmed by the size of everything and loved all the sychronized clapping, and doing the wave. He also got to try cotton candy for the first time!!

After the 7th inning stretch, a foul ball came our way and Jackson got it!!! A game ball on his first game ever!!! What a way to start! Also, Jackson's presence was the good luck charm the Rockies needed to end a losing streak. Great night!!

Jackson Family Reunion

ImageHere is one of the many pictures from the Jackson family reunion. We had a blast!! Thanks to Richard and Holly for making it all possible!! Most of the viewers of this blog know about the reunion, but for those who don't, we spend a weekend at Crystal Hot Springs in Utah, swimming and lounging pool-side. It was very relaxing and fun for us and the boys. They loved reuniting with their cousins! We hope the boys can also spend some time with their AZ cousins before too long.

Back In The Saddle Again!

Image After 2 exciting months in the RV, we have moved into a single level 4-plex in Golden! We are so excited to be here and will likely be in Golden the rest of our lives! We even have a house picked out!! It has electricity, indoor plumbing, carpet...everything! :)

Moving

Image
Our lease is up on April 30th, so we decided to take this chance and live rent free for a while to boost our savings as a buffer against the economy. We bought a used RV and will be having an adventure in that for a few months!! We're very excited!!!
