OK, so things in life have been somewhat normal just haven't had the drive to blog. The internet has also been a factor, you kind of have to have it to use the internet. The last time I blog it was when Shaylee was just a couple months old and Sheridy wanted to make my blog a Christmas present so I had to update everything in a couple of days and I think that's when the burn out came.
Shaylee is doing really good....she is almost 2 now and is finally starting to talk. We were worry there for awhile that she had some hearing problems, but after getting everything checked out we found that she is just stubborn :) Hopefully it is just a phase! Everyone tried to tell me not to worry about her, but I was comparing her mile stones to her brothers who walked and talked at 10 to 12 months. I really enjoy hearing her talk now and can't believe how quickly her 10 words turned into 20 then 30 and so on. She still wont say "please" but other then that she can tell you what she wants.
Weston is enjoying life and is so glad he gets to go to school now. His best friend got to go last year and it was kind of painful for him. He love riding the bus and told me after about 2 weeks that he could walk to the stop by himself and that I could just stay home. I wasn't really ready for that, but I told him if he felt he could do it to let me know ( so it's my own fault ). He is going to be getting some glasses at the end of the month and is excited to wear them. He does look pretty handsome with them on, but I think he isn't going t like them for very long. He had been having some headaches so Jess and I thought it would be best to have his vision checked, the Dr. said it's normal and kids can grow out of it. For now he only has to wear them to school and when he reads at home.
Damon has grown up so much since Weston has started school. He is always wanting to help Shaylee and invites her to do everything with him, that is until Weston gets home :) I was kind of nervous to see how he would handle being the big brother, but he has taken the role and done every well with it. He is trying really hard to ride a bike without the training wheels. However, to his dismay and the fear he has of falling it is a slow moving goal. He loves doing his "homework" when Shaylee is napping and Weston isn't home yet, that is part his "down time". Which is the only time of the day that he slows down long enough to have me catch up with him. He looks forward to being big enough to go to school with Weston but I can't believe that he will be starting school next year!
I'm not really a huge fan of how quickly they all grow up.
Hopefully I can keep up on the happenings we have from here on out. I'm not promising anything, but for journaling purposes I hope I wont just let 2 years slide by again!
