the most wonderful time of the year. . .

December has been a crazy month!  Since my pictures loaded the opposite way we can start with Christmas :)  We had an awesome Christmas and Baylor is spoiled, and I let it happen.  Jordan would keep telling me, "Amy, he doesn't even know who Santa is, why keep buying more?"  But I couldn't help myself. We celebrated Christmas three days in a row, the first at our house, next at the Noordas, and then at the Kites.  It wore me out to be honest. I am the type that can't wait to put up my Christmas decorations and can't wait to get them down.  So the day after Thanksgiving instead of going shopping, which is against my moral code, I put up my decorations.  Then they day after Christmas it all comes down.  Weird, I know.

Putting together the race track, he wanted to play with dads tools more then the cars.  Lucky for Baylor, he got his own set of tools from Grandma Noorda.

I wish this picture wasn't blurry but I had to put it up anyway

Jordans Christmas present, a duck blind.

Oh, the ducks will never see you in that!

At my moms she gets everyone pajamas for Christmas Eve, this year she got the boys red long johns.  Baylors were the cutest, and Jordan told me I couldn't put a picture of him wearing them on here.  Travis didn't care but his dear wife might so you can just picture it in your heads :)

A couple of days ago we went to Hardware Ranch to ride the sleigh and see the elk.  My cousin Brad is the manager up there so he was our personal guide.

Yes it was cold!

Brad and the team.  Baylor had to wear Jordans stinky gloves the whole time and they always ended up in my face.

We finally got some snow!  Baylor doesn't really like to touch it but maybe he will come around before it melts.  Do you think we could be in a commercial for Carhartt?

My Christmas present was a little getaway to the NFR!  I was so excited to go and it was a blast.  I loved the rodeo but I loved the shopping even more!!  I kept saying it was a good thing I am pregnant because I probably would have spent a lot of money on all the cute clothes I saw.  But it was still fun to look and I came home with enough stuff as it was!

Oh ya did I forget to mention on this thing that we are having another BABY?!?  Well it hasn't been the greatest 4 1/2 months of my life but I think we are on the up side of things. This pregnancy has been so different then with Baylor so everyone and myself included was convinced it was a girl.  But just to prove again that I don't know anything we were surprised the week before Christmas with the news that its another BOY!!  I was pleasantly surprised and relieved.  I am happy with boys, and one day I might get a girl. . .if I ever decide to do this again :)
We have had a great Christmas and we are excited for the new year and all the exciting things coming our way!!

Since I am a pro lately of updating our lives on this thing I thought I would dig out some old pictures of what we have been up to. We had a blast this Halloween, Baylor was a football player, if you couldn't tell. He didn't love it at first but Jordan made it cool by being the same thing. Baylor is a copy cat when it comes to his dad.
We hit up Grandma Margies annual Halloween party and it was a great time as expected!
Pictured are the two kite boys as football players, me the witch, Mr. and Mrs. Mary Poppins, Mrs. Kite, Tony Stark, Mike and Rach, and Ashton the ghost.

Jordan has been hunting alot so Baylor and I headed to the pumpkin walk to get out of the house.  Baylor is also in a big boy bed!  At 18 months he went from his crib to a full size bed.  He has been having a hard time sleeping and we finally decided its because he is a wild sleeper and wakes himself up when he would move and hit the sides of his crib.  He has only fallen out once. . .maybe twice, but he will learn right?
Image
Baylor was a big help and even got his tools out to help dad put the frame together.  Its been the best purchase we have ever made, we all wake up happy in the mornings and who could honestly ask for more in life!

Enterprise!

ImageFor Pioneer Day we went to Southern Utah for a little family getaway. We had a weekend full of fun and I loved spending time with all my family, especially these cute girls. We went to the parade, rodeo, Tuacon, and had a fun time talking and catching up with wonderful people!

We had a fun, hot night at Aladdin in Tuacahn.

more summer fun

We have been trying to squeeze as much out of summer as we possibly can! We have been riding horses of all kinds, playing with puppies and going a million miles a minute.ImageImageMy mom got her jump horse out of storage and its Baylors new best friend.
ImageJustin had hound puppies, which are stinkin cute until they grow up. They wouldn't hold still long enough for Baylor to get his hands on them.

ImageGiving the puppy loves, we are working on being soft!
ImageThis means I want them.
