Ho Ho Ho!!!

Christmas Recap 201o
What a busy few days!! We've given Christmas it's full due around here, and it's amazing how quickly the day comes and then goes! We started out our celebrations by having Christmas with Mimi and Pop where Lila got round one of her spoiling...

Image One of the greatest things was that it SNOWED ALL DAY! We truly had a white Christmas ... the first I've ever had!
ImageImageImageImageImage All my aunts, uncles and cousins came during the afternoon to celebrate, but my camera was on hiatus I guess. I did catch Josh and Kevin making a pretty great snowman in the front yard. It was a hit!
Image From my family to yours, I hope that your Christmas was as special and as wonderful as ours! Merry Christmas!!

I love...

Image Christmas vacation! It's so nice to lay around in our comfy clothes, watch movies and eat snacks, and be on no time-table whatsoever. This tired mama needed some rest and relaxation with my Bug. Now if only Daddy could be home with us some too....

Family Christmas

We went to Christmas with Josh's side of the family on Sunday afternoon. Wowee, that house was packed out. There were about 30 adults and about 9 or 10 kiddos ... and that equals a very organized level of chaos. :) It was a lot of fun ... I'm so glad Lila has such great aunts, uncles, and cousins to share these holidays with...not to mention both grandparents and a great-grandmother. Certainly makes the holidays that much more special to spend it with family. Here are just a few of the pictures...

School Christmas

Lila had her school Christmas party yesterday afternoon. I enjoyed being able to participate in it, and the kids seemed to have fun too.

A School Christmas

My "other" kids had their Christmas play tonight at school, and they did a great job performing. Here's just a few of the 18 I get to spend my days with...
Image
Lila finally warmed up to their loud little selves and ventured in for a picture.
Image
Lila sat on the floor beside me during the entire performance totally entranced. She loved all the songs and motions. She and the kiddos did a great job. :)

My Family

Image Papa escaped from a picture this weekend, but I managed one with my mama and sister. They came to celebrate my birthday this past weekend, and I sure was glad to see them. :) My mom certainly helped a tired ol' pregnant girl out with some baking and ironing ... it was MUCH appreciated!! Miss you guys and am looking forward to Christmas and a week's rest up there with y'all!

Christmas in a Railroad Town

We headed downtown Friday night for what promised to be a fun night. Things just didn't go our way. We weren't super prepared, and then we decided to ride the train. Lila was so excited about the choo-choo. Well a 30 minute wait and one flat train tire, we ended up heading home...without doing much of anything. The highlight of Lila's night was running into her buddy, Emory. They giggled and hugged and acted like that hadn't just spent the whole day together. They're super cute together...love that they love each other!

Maybe they'll grow up to be as close as their daddies are ... just not as rowdy. ;)Image

#28

Celebrated birthday #28 today with my little family. We had a delicious dinner at Provinos and a yummy cupcake from Gigi's.
Image We also headed to the mall to see Santa, but Lila was none too keen. She stayed as far away as she could. I thought she'd do okay ... we'd been talking about seeing Ho-Ho, and she'd say how she wanted to sit on his lap. I guess talking and doing are two different things. Oh well, we'll try again next year!!

It was a great day! Looking forward to 28 being a fun and eventful year!
