Destin 2010

Loonngg post of our trip to Destin. These are some of the best shots that tells Bug's trip, but is nowhere near all of the ones I took!! We had a great time and appreciate Josh's parents letting us crash with them. Looking forward to the next trip!

Summer Activities

We've been trying to fill some of our days productively with all this new-found time that Lila and me have with each other. One morning of the week, we've been driving over to Auburn's library to that Lila could participate in storytime. She really enjoys it ... being the little social butterfly that she is. They sing songs and read stories. After it's over, they let us all hang out in the room and chat. Last time, they let the kids play with musical intruments. It's cute!

Em-bug joined us the last time, and Lila was glad to have an old buddy there!

Lila and I have also been taking Mommy & Me swimming lessons. This nice lady that was at the lesson watching took these for me so I could have some documentation. Lila's done really well and seems to enjoy being in the water. She particularly got to where she liked "jumping" off the side of the pool. Which helped today when we went swimming at Emory's Gigi's house. Lila wore her puddle-jumper, and she did so well with it! I was really impressed. She floated around and would not really need anyone to actually hold her hand (don't worry grandparents ... someone was always right there in case she needed us). The float supported her really well, and she played for a long time! Lila's thanking Emory for letting us come swim ;-). Headed to the beach tomorrow to meet up with some family. Looking forward to it!! :)

June Wedding

Saturday night, we got to get dressed up and go celebrate...

A super special thanks to Aunt Casey who came to stay with Lilabug. She even brought her up to the church after the ceremony to be in the big group picture. Lila had a blast with her Aunt "Cakey." We love you! :)

We've been
lazing around by the pool.

on a road trip to visit Grammy, Papa, and Aunt Casey. to Summer Swing to watch Mr. Rusty play. We danced and danced! playing in Mommy's make-up. spending LOTS of quality time together! to Aunt Gladys and Uncle Montey's house for dinner. We had a tea party with Adam, and... went swimming with Karlee. popping in on long-lost buddies, and... playing in their tents! Loving Summer!
