Pumpkin Patch Fun

We had such a fun morning at the pumpkin patch this morning! My favorite part ... it was literally a pumpkin patch!! So simple and quiet and laid back ... just what we needed! We were able to walk out to the patch and pick our pumpkins off the vine, then the girls enjoyed free ice cream. I was able to go ahead and get some veggies for the week. Such a beautiful fall morning!

Since I'm so behind on blogging, I wanted to just post some pictures over the last little bit that I've taken of the girls on my phone. School and life have kept us incredibly busy. Down time is rare, but we are doing our best to enjoy each days and enjoy each other.

Soccer Girls

The big girls decided that they wanted to play soccer this season. Josh and I have been really impressed with how much they seem to enjoy it. They've both learned a lot, and have truly improved their game. Lila was even asked to play in a club soccer tournament to see if she'd be interested in play club soccer in the spring. Her first practice went really well, and she says that she likes it a lot. We've been spending lots of time at the soccer fields this year, and poor Ivey is just along for the ride. She's pretty super though ... so easy, and loves being around her big sisters. She loves it even more when we let her down out of her stroller so she can kick the ball around too. 

SURPRISE!

Casey and I were able to throw our mama a SURPRISE birthday party back at the first of September. We really wanted to do this for her, and we were so excited that it actually turned out to be a surprise. It was such a fun day celebrating Mama, and we were so thankful and glad for the family and friends that came to help us celebrate too. We love our mama so very much, and were so happy to do something for her for a change...she does so very much for us and ours. Happy Birthday, Mama! We love you!!
