Kate Elizabeth

My baby turned 1 today!  The time goes by SO much faster with #2.  I'm really enjoying Kate right now.  She's at such a fun stage.  I forgot how much I like 1.  She is just so happy to be alive and to explore the world around her.

Special things about Kate:

1. She has an infectious smile! People stop all the time to smile and talk to her.
2. She's tenacious.  She doesn't cry and wait for someone to help her, she just goes for it.  I love it!
3. he already knows what she wants.   She can't be distracted.
4. She's daring.  She's a climber for sure.  She's fallen into the bath with her clothes, climbed on top of chair to see what's on the counter, climbed on the couch, bed, etc...
5. She has crazy hair.  It's hard to tame.
6. She LOVES music and she loves to dance.
7. Her mommy really loves her.
8. Her daddy really loves her.  She loves him too.   When he gets home from work, she crawls to him and squeals.
9. She has a unique laugh that cracks me up every time I hear it.
10. She has a big brother who adores her and tells me not to put her to bed so he can play with her.  He talks to her like she understands him.  So cute.

It's Hard to Blog

I love blogging and I have so many things I want to blog about, I just can't get myself to do it my spare time.  Too many other things are a priority right now (i.e.  finding a house...)

We went to Tahoe last weekend.  It was a short trip but was so much fun!  I got to see my beloved friend Oliva and her cute family!  6 hours roundtrip is much better than 22 hours!  I really wanted to make the drive to Utah/Idaho this summer to see friends and family, but with my kids it's not happening.  My next trip is without kids for sure! (I love them... I just don't love them in the car!).

The trip started out good... Jack shared his fishy's with Kate! ;) 

The amount of stuff you have bring for 2 nights with kids is ridiculous!

I had fun visiting with Olivia and wished we had more time to chat! 

We also checked out the Tahoe Relay which is a race I'd LOVE to do one day... any takers? (I need 6! :)

We went to the Lake.  The weather said mid 60's but it was beautiful and 

felt much warmer!

On our way home we stopped at a spot to stretch our legs hoping it would make some little people tired... No such luck!  We had wide awake children all the way home!! :)

We really did have fun!  Jack is already wanting to stay in a "hotel" again!

Part II -Vegas

On our way back from the reunion, we stayed a night in Vegas.  I have always liked Vegas.  I just love the hotels, I think they are beautiful and I love walking around and seeing all the attractions.  Jared, however, does not get it.  When we drove into Vegas, Jack was looking around and he said "wow, there's so much cool stuff here.... this is a fun place!"  Jared just laughed.  

We stayed at the Luxor which is at one end of the strip, swam in the pools, and then walked over to Caesars Palace to have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.  It took us almost 2 hours to walk down.. . it couldn't have been more than a mile.  Everyone was exhausted but still enjoyed the water show at the Bellagio.  Loved it!

Bundy Reunion '10

We had so much fun at the reunion this year!  It was a looooong drive and sometimes I don't know why we do it, but.... I'm always glad we did!  It's so great to be up on the mountain where my dad grew up, close to the memories of my grandparents and great-grandparents.  It's the dirtiest place you could ever pick to go camping.  I gave up a long time ago trying to stay clean.  I wore the same jeans the entire weekend and they looked gross by the time I was done... but they cleaned up real nice! :)  The kids loved it!  Jack loves dirt (evidence here, here, here, here, here, and here), so he was in heaven!  I feel like the weekend flew by.  I never get the chance to visit with everyone as much as I like.  So to everyone that was up there... It was good to see you, be so close, catch up a bit, and we love you!  We'll see you in 2 years!!
