This last weekend was spent in Sanpete, it was so much fun. Here's a few pictures of our adventures, rock climbing, hiking, eating, walking, spending time with cousins...

Grandma and Grandpa V brought McClean up for a picnic, those two loved being outside, but Jack was tired and was trying to get comfy any way he could

These two were so cute together, we took them for a walk and they loved it.

Sunday and Monday was spent with the Olsen's, my mom got some pictures so you can check out her blog, but i guess i lost my camera for a few days :) It was so good to relax Sunday and then get the yard ready for the wedding Monday. Thanks for the great weekend everyone!

Baby or lamp shade? You decide...

Why is Jack in a lampshade you might ask? Well if you know his father, you'd wouldn't bother asking :)

We've had a full house lately. I've got two sisters staying with us this month, one because she's still working and the other because she's just had her last foot surgery and i get to keep her company. My mom's here to take care of her since her surgery was today and William's been around a lot too since Natalie's been here. Good times, good family. We're excited for the upcoming wedding.

This morning i was getting ready for my run and asked if John wanted to come with--usually he doesnt, but today he said he would ride the bike with jack on back while i ran. So we went about getting Jack ready for the run. This is the end result. i dare say, he was pretty toasty. We love him....

Mother's Day

Well here i am, finally got all the technicalities of going private figured out and i thought i'd better send a shout out to mothers! First of all, we're so grateful for our mothers. For the things they've taught us and for the many things they still do for us. They are the best and we love them so much.

Our mothers day was....eventful....Jack cut his first tooth! (wahoo) and he was extrememly constipated :(, i'll spare you the details but lets just say it was miserable....completely. He is now almost regular again (Thank goodness). John spoiled me (like always) and made breakfast, got Jack ready for church, helped with dinner and did the dishes (have i mentioned lately i have the greatest husband in the world)

The tooth is in there....but almost impossible to see since his tongue always follows his lower lip right out and covers the tooth. It's just a little stubby now, but we'll work on getting a shot :)

And this is our awesome, colorful dinner (hawiian haystacks-yum), and me saying "happy mother's day" and cheesing it big time. So here's my shout out to all women, Happy Mother's Day! It's a great day to celebrate (even a few days late)

first dam

We went to First dam a few days ago to see the birds, relax in the sun and play a little baseball...which wasn't such a great idea. This is me trying to get the ball out of the lake...i got it and we didn't play anymore :)

We love nice weather! Can't wait to hopefully get a little more :)

Celebration

For John's birthday, we went to Tucano's with the Van Ormans. That food is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. We loved it, and it helps that we're on the birthday club and for our birthdays we get a free meal :)

Jack was just cracking up laughing at the girls sitting accross from us in the prom dresses. He thought they were pretty funny. We love our little boy

We did this on the day before John's birthday, on his birthday he had work but came, enjoyed dinner at a friends and had some over for Apple Crisp. Good times and good company. Thanks for having a birthday so that we could splurge a little bit!

My best friends birthday

Twenty four years ago today my best friend was born. He's got the biggest heart, the sweetest smile, and the best looks. I'm so grateful to be married to this incredible man and i'm so grateful for the amazing provider and proctector he is for our small little family. Happy Birthday babe, its going to be a good year. Love you!
