Great Wolf Lodge

A few weeks ago we met some friends at Great Wolf Lodge. We checked in, swam till we were all pruned, grabbed some dinner, listened to story time and played a little bit of their Magiquest game with a magic wand. Our friends and their kids were great at solving the puzzles so we just kinda followed them to discover all the hidden treasures. After breakfast the next morning, we had all day to swim again. Raegan went down all the slides she could and Brady enjoyed the kiddie swim area. Lil man swam till he collapsed in my arms for a two hour nap. We will visiting again in the future for sure!

Fun with Family

We had an fun filled weekend! Aside from lots of playtime with cousins, we went to three football games on Saturday, went to the Wichita Zoo on Sunday and then went trick or treating Sunday night. On Monday night, the kids and I returned home on to more family. Brian's cousin, Eric, and his family were driving from Utah to Mississppi and stopped to spend the night with us. They have three kids ages 4, 3, and 15 mo. We enjoyed getting to see all of them and getting to meet the youngest two kiddos for the first time. The kids all played great! Hope to see them all again soon!

As you can see, it was impossible to get all five to look at the camera at the same time....

Becky and Scott's wedding

Rewind.... Over Labor day weekend we went to Pittsburg Kansas for my dear friends wedding. We are so happy for Becky and Scottilicious (that's what Raegan calls him)! I enjoyed seeing all my college roomates again. It was so fun catching up with good friends. Raegan was the flowergirl. She walked down the aisle perfectly and loved her princess like dress. She also liked the cute ring bearer too:) I'm so lucky I was a bridesmaid. Becky is like a sister to me and I couldn't be more honored than to stand be her on her special day :) The reception was a blast as we all danced the night away. As you can see, the kids even did a little break dancing. Ha!

Just because they're cute pics.....

I just think this is precious. When we say its time to say our prayers Brady automatically assumes this position. AWE!

Fishing

The kids have been talking about going fishing for awhile so we finally bought them some fishing poles. They loved going to pick out their very own poles. Raegan got a princess themed pole and Brady got a toy story themed pole. We went to a local park with a big pond and caught lots of perch. Brady was just as excited to play with the worms as he was to catch fish. Since we didn't use all the worms we bought that day, the kids came home and played with them out back. They were entertained for hours with them. Who needs toys when ya got worms? HA!

Halloween

This was suppossed to be the Halloween of super heroes but Raegan kind of had a change of heart. She picked out her bright pick Supergirl costume in September and was so excited about it until she tried it on. She was very disappointed to discover that she couldn't really fly and she hasn't wanted to wear it since. She thought if she jumped off the kitchen island that she would fly but obviously that didn't happen. Backup plan:Cinderella. She wore a Cinderella dress to four previous halloween parties we've had over the past two weeks. Brady has been happy with being "spidey" as he calls Spider-man. We spent Halloween back in Kansas so the kids could go trick or treating with some of their cousins. Brady really got into trick or treating and eating lots of candy :) It was a bit chilly but the kids had a great time.

Pumpkin Patch

The kids really enjoyed the pumkin patch this year. We visited one that had goats to feed, horses and other farm animals to look at, a fun maze, a hay ride and of course, lots of pumpkins.
