What a CUTE kid!

This last picture is one of my all time favorites of Broadie! He is such a HAPPY, HEALTHY, and HANDSOME kid! What more can I say. I truly think he is amazing and I thank my lucky stars every day that I get to be his mother! I am so blessed! Broadie really is an amazing son, he does SO awesome in school, he is so well behaved, and just so much fun to be around! (Really though, there is NO exaggeration here). He LOVES animals, wants to be a vet (and don't ever play animal jeopardy with him because he will kick your butt). He watches ALL of the Brady Barr animal shows and I think he could put that guy to shame sometimes. Broadie loves reading! The last week he has been reading Harry Potter, but its funny because he is listening to the tapes that read to you at the same time. Last night he thought that since he was reading, he could stay up past his bedtime ... tricky little stinker (but in all reality, how do you deny them that)! I just hope he realizes how special he is to me and how much I truly love him.   

A bit of catching up to do

Kadi, Jake, Broadie and I went to a hockey game in salt lake and had a blast! Here are a few pics!

 This is broadie at his school play. They sang and did square dancing. It was way cute!

This was a car I found in the parking lot of Broadies school. Can you say WOW! I mean ... ok, there was room for the drive and that was it. The back seat was packed all the way to the roof! ABSOLUTELY INSANE ... literally I think ... this person needs to be ont he hoarders show or something. I can only imagine what their house looks like. Gross!

I promise some day I will get back to posting really good fun things, once I get a life again, but for now this is all you get. All in all life is good. Painfully busy but good. I miss my boys most days but I know its worth it.

Funny Thought!

I figured out why I'm fat! (or at least getting fatter) The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says "for extra volume and body". I'm going to start using "Dawn" dish soap. It says "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove."

Thats funny!

Infectious Disease

1st week of the semester done and 1 module done ... Infectious Diseases in 1 week is all I have to say .... and there were 1048 slides for 1 week .... holy crap, no wonder I am tired!!!

So, I have been wondering why I have been so sick and having bad luck with my own health lately and here is what I decided. The high stress nature of my work/school learning makes me MORE likely to have crap (or my new favorite word, poopy) happen. I often ignore my own issues/needs because of the time needed to care for others takes away from time caring for myself. I am living sleep deprived, caffeine-overdosed (you have no idea here), and on food that I would NEVER endorse to you to eat! JUST SAYING! All of this equalling bad health for Jess ... haha oh well, I still love doing what I do! And I hope I am doing it well.

I used to think I was super woman! Now ... well I think I am just plain old boring human :-) lol

1 semester down and 2 more to go

So I thought it would be fun to take a picture of everything I learned this last semester. So take a look at all my knowledge :-) All of those binders are PACKED full of power point lectures, and we used all of those books you see stacked on both sides of of all those binders. Then in the front are all my flash cards ..... and of course my handy dandy white board. Tomorrow starts another fun filled semester so here we go!
