Hubby's Birthday

My honey turned OLD on Saturday! Holy cow, haha! We had a pretty chill weekend, we spent it in Utah with my parents, Saturyday night we went to Scott's friend Colts house and just hung out. It was pretty fun. But the REAL Fun came on Sunday. Colt invited us to a Turkey Shoot (no you don't shoot turkey's but you shoot clay pigons/trap/skeet/what ever those orange flying things are) and you can win a turkey! It was great fun! All the money is donated to a charity so it all is for a good cause. We won 1 turkey, and here are some fun pictures

GIRLS NIGHT OUT!

Addie's Bridal Shower

A girl I work with is getting married in December so I decided to throw her a bridal shower at my house. It was a big hit and tons of fun, we laughed so hard we cried, and cute little Addie is so sheltered I think we married ones scared her a little :-), here are a few fun classic picures from the shower.

Ganstog (haha, he was a condom) he is the coolest guy, he is from Mongolia and has been here for 8 years. He is one of the most polite guys, I love having him over to our house, its so much fun to learn about his culture and family! He has definitely been adopted into our family :-)

This is the huge pile of leaves we had to rake up in our yard this year, and Odie LOVED Playing in the leaves, running and jumping into the pile, it was great to watch him!

We did the coolest thing with the leaves, we put them into black plastic garbage bags and tied the top, we then put pumpkin faces on them and put them in our front yard, it made the biggest pumpkin yard and was the best halloween decorations!

Saturday turned out to be a pretty good day this weekend, so Scott decided to go test out his new dirt bike and we (my parents, broadie, and I) decided to go Explore Craters of the Moon. This was sooo cool! We learned that this is where the hot spot used to be (about 200 years ago) and now the hot spot is in yellowstone. We also learned the Native Indian History behind this place and it involved snake that was sunning itself and squoze the mountain to tight :-) but all in all this place was really cool. The lava rocks were everywhere, and the colors we amazing. I wish the picutres did it justice. It was still too cold to explore the caves but we are going to go back next summer for sure so we can see all the caves. Broadie did take home a few of the rocks and he had to get a book about the rocks so he could learn all about them.

Broadie's 9th Birthday

Broadie's 9th Birthday was on Friday and we had a really fun birthday party for him. A bunch of his friends came over and they played games in the yard (they had races, played duck duck goose, red rover, and many many more). They then came inside and played pictionary, this was so much fun to play with the kids, they did really good. They opened presentes and ate cake and icecream. I think they had a blast.

After the party the adults had fun playing pictionary and mexican train. It was fun having all of our friends and family together to celebrate Broadies Birthday!

Happy Birthday buddy, I love you so much! This is your last year in the single digits so enjoy it!

The life of Boy Scouts

Need I say more ... Broadie has absolutely loved being a boy scout. Here are some fun pictures of things that he has been learning and doing. He learned how to make a catapult (its is actually pretty sweet, even the big boys are jealous of Broadie's scouting talents)

It's Gonna Be a Party

Broadie's Birthday is coming up soon, I can't believe he will be nine already, he is aging me too darn fast! I thought I would put up his birthday invitation in case any of you want to come (I did take out all of our important info because I didn't want it on the web) but you all should know our phone numbers so call me for details if you want to come. It will be fun!

Also, a quick little update, I finally got another part time job, and I am pretty excited about it, it is at an Urgent Care here in town, and I will work part time on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays while Broadie is in school. And, I can still keep my other WONDERFUL Part time job that I do from home! Horray! haha. I guess that is all I have for updates so far, things are kind of boring right now, Scotty is back in school, so we don't get to see a whole lot of him unless it is the weekend, but luckily he only has less then 2 years left and he will be done with his masters in engineering and his MBA, so GO HONEY! I love you (but just hurry and finish school, cuz I miss you too) :-)
