Happy Birthday Judd!

30 things you may or may not know about my 30 year old hubby:
1. Judd and I have been together since 1996. That's almost 13 years. We dated for seven years before we got married and have been married for almost 6 years now.
2. He had five majors in college and still graduated in four years.
3. His first real job was in San Antonio, Texas.
4. Judd's all time favorite TV show is Friends. He owns all ten seasons and can quote almost every episode line by line.
5. His favorite drinks are unsweet tea and diet dr. pepper.
6. He loves the Dallas Cowboys.
7. Judd is a coffee drinker. He used to drink a pot and a half a day. He's cutting back.
8. He gets our kids up, ready, and takes them to school by himself everyday. He's super dad. Seriously.
9. He can fix Bailey's hair and does a good job.
10. He played tennis and competed in speech events in high school.
11. Judd and his buddy Dave went to the Olive Garden every Thursday for dinner his senior year at Baylor.
12. His all time favorite movie is Braveheart.
13. He has fair skin and burns like a lobster.
14. His favorite meal is orange chicken from the Cheesecake Factory.
15. He loves New York City. We went there on our honeymoon then went back two years later. He can't wait to go again.
16. He and Bailey have a game where they tell each other, "You stink!" It's quite commical.
17. Three out of his four grandparents are still living. They are wonderful and we are blessed to have them in our lives.
18. He had a cocker spaniel named Ginger growing up and now we have a cocker named Gracie.
19. His best friend is Nick. They've been buds since high school. We're thankful he and his family only live an hour away.
20. His loves Christmas and is seriously considering putting our Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving so we can enjoy them longer.
21. He loves his MacBook and ipod and really wants an iphone. Maybe one day.
22. Judd has one sister who is married and has two sweet girls. He loves being an uncle!
23. He has attended Baylor Homecoming every year since his freshman year in 1997.
24. He does not like traffic, PCs, being late, tomatoes, and Texas Longhorns.
25. Don't want to sound cliche, but Judd really does love people. His passion is small groups so that people get to know each other intimately and live life together.
26. His mentor is Steve. Steve has taught him a lot about ministry, marriage, and fatherhood.
27. He loves being the daddy of a little girl. He adores her and she adores him. They have a bond that is indescribable.
28. He also loves being the daddy of a baby boy. He loves that he has a son to carry on the family name and he can't wait to teach him to throw a football. I hope that baby boy grows up to be like his daddy.
29. He is a better husband than I could have ever hoped for.
30. Most importantly, he loves Jesus.

Jack-O-Lantern

Daddy and Bailey carved our perfect pumpkin from Dewberry Farm into a jack-o-lantern! Bailey acted like she was interested at first, but wanted NOTHING to do with cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin. I believe her exact words were, "That looks like throw up!" She's such a girlie-girl!

Dewberry Farm

We went to Dewberry Farm today!  We had so much fun when we went last year that we just had to go again. It was a good thing we bought our tickets online before we left because the line to purchase tickets was LONG! We were able to walk right in. So if you live in the Houston area and plan on going to Dewberry Farm, buy your tickets in advance!!

Our first stop was the Goatel 6. Bailey loved looking at the animals but would not get too close. She said they would bite her.

Then we visited the barn that was full of animals. Bailey loved seeing Wilbur and the bunnies. She wasn't too interested in the chickens. I don't blame her.

We took pictures on this pig last year so we had to do it again.

On to the rubber duckie races...

And this picture is for our friend Mr. Jeff. He doesn't like green tractors. Bailey insisted on wearing my sunglasses because the sun was in her eyes.

Bailey's favorite thing on the farm was Fort Dew Hickey! It's a wooden fort with ramps, bridges, tunnel, fire pole, and a slide.

Daddy and Bailey rode the Corn Train.

Campbell was a good sport in his stroller. He can't wait until next year!

Last but not least we rode on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch where we found the perfect pumpkin to take home!

5 months

Campbell,
Five months - time flies! Here are a few highlights from the past month:
1. You weigh a whopping 17 pounds, 9 ounces! Such a big boy!
2. You experienced your first hurricane. You slept right through it. I got to spend a whole week at home with you because of it. Thanks, Ike!
3. You ate your first rice cereal. We couldn't feed you fast enough. You are a great eater!
4. You made several trips to the doctor thanks to a nasty cough. We ended up getting to use Bailey's penguin nebulizer to give you breathing treatments three times a day. You don't care too much for the treatments unless you get to watch Baby Einstein. Thankfully you are getting better.
5. You still don't have any teeth but you are still drooling and chomping on anything you can get into your mouth.
Coming soon in month 6: your first Halloween and your first Baylor Homecoming. Can't wait!
I love you baby boy,
Momma

Yes, he got a big boy haircut. I didn't have my camera with me so I didn't get any pictures of the grand event. I've learned my lesson and it won't happen again.
