Christmas with the cousins

We celebrated Christmas with Ma, Nonnie, Bubba, and the Englands on the day after Christmas.

This is something Bailey wrote about Ma at school.  She gave it to her for Christmas.

All the cousins from youngest to oldest:

Although these are all the pictures that I have, there were more gifts, more food, and more fun.
We love spending time with family!

Christmas Day

After our Christmas morning breakfast at Maw-Maw and Pop's we went to Kaufman for Christmas lunch at Memommie and Grandaddy's.  We had BBQ and enjoyed visiting with Judd's aunts, uncle, and grandparents.  We missed the cousins who weren't there this year.

The girls sang and danced for us!

Judd was telling Campbell about Grandaddy's military medals.  Such a sweet moment!

The highlight of the day was Christmas SNOW!!!  The kids loved it and wanted to make a snowman and have a snowball fight, but there wasn't enough snow for that!

Campbell got Spiderman and Hulk costumes, a talking Spiderman mask, and a race car!

After the kids checked out their gifts and stockings from Santa, my Aunt Liz, Uncle Tommy, and cousin Steven came over.  We had waffles and sausage balls for breakfast, and the kids opened more gifts! What a wonderful Christmas morning!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Maw-Maw and Pop, Kenny, Meike, and Esra in Garland.  My Aunt Kim and Uncle Boogie went with us to the Christmas Eve service at Watermark.  Then we went home, ate a wonderful Mexican dinner, and opened presents.

When I was six or seven, I was missing my two front teeth at Christmas so my sweet Daddy drew two front teeth and wrapped them in box for me to open.  I thought it was so funny at the time, and I've never forgotten it.  Since Bailey is still missing her two front teeth, I thought it would be fun for Pop to recreate this gift for her.  She smiled at first, but then she buried her head in my lap and cried!  She was embarrassed! I laughed so hard that I cried!  When I finally composed myself I told her the story, and she felt a little better, but she still didn't think it was funny.  Maybe one day she'll appreciate it!

After we opened gifts, the kids changed into their Christmas pajamas and sprinkled reindeer food in the yard.

We left cookies and milk for Santa and said goodbye to Snowflake before going to bed.
