We've had a pretty mild winter here in Houston. We did have one cold day recently. The kids bundled up in their hats that they got from Aunt Liz for Christmas!

preparing for Valentine's Day

We spent the weekend getting ready for Valentine's Day. On Saturday the kids worked on their Valentine cards. Campbell chose Spiderman cards. He's all about super heros! Bailey chose Barbie. Not surprised!

Campbell worked hard to put suckers in each of his cards.

Bailey addressed cards for her whole class!

On Sunday, we worked on homemade treats for the kids' teachers.

Campbell helped with the pretzel-hug-cookies.

Bake at 200 degrees for 5 minutes then press an m&m on top.

Bailey helped with Rolo cookies.

Bake at 250 for 5 minutes then press an m&m on top.

We put them in Valentine tins - cute, yummy, and easy!
