Happy Birthday Judd

Judd turned 35 today!  We are so thankful for his presence in our lives. He is the best husband and dad anyone could ask for!  We got to celebrate Judd at church on Wednesday evening.  I ordered a green and gold cake from HEB, and a friend had a Baylor red velvet cake made for him.  He must be spoiled!

This cake was AWESOME!!!

Baylor Homecoming

We usually make a weekend out of Baylor Homecoming, but we will be going back to Waco in a few weeks for Joanne's wedding so we made it a day trip.  We left our house at 5:30 AM on Saturday and didn't get home until 1:00 AM Sunday.  We crammed a whole lot of fun into one day!

We got to campus early for a prime curb spot for the oldest and largest collegiate homecoming parade.  Campbell got to take Titus, the class tiger, home with him for the weekend so he went to Baylor with us.

Sic 'em Bears!

There is no doubt that we are huge Baylor fans.  We've always been loyal Bears, even when winning football games were few and far between.   The past few seasons have been so fun to watch as the Bears have risen up the ranks of the BCS.  We're also impressed with the new line of uniforms that Nike designed for Baylor, including the gold chrome helmets.  Judd went to a youth pastors' conference in Dallas and got to wear one.  He was in Baylor heaven!

A shower for Joanne

Joanne is getting married!  We met 13 years ago at Baylor University, and have been the best of friends ever since.  Joanne's bridesmaids and sister threw her a shower in Dallas.  We had a great time helping her get ready for her big day!

We played a game where we had to guess what was in a sealed brown paper bag.  Some of the items were pretty funny!
