avery had her 6 month checkup today.

the dr said she is growing nicely.

her gums are swollen so maybe she'll get some teeth soon.

she has another ear infection.

is back on antibiotics.

this time she is taking augmentin.

poor girl.

her cold is really bad too.

she coughs at night and it wakes her up.

i feel helpless.

she rolled from one end of the room to the other today.

it was fun to watch.

i ate at rubio's...

i found out later that my burrito had 700 calories in it.

i didn't go to the gym.

maybe tomorrow.

still need to lose 15-20 pounds.

oddle, i feel really discouraged most days because my pre-prego clothes still don't fit.

its okay though.

i gave myself 9 months to lose the weight since that's how long it took to gain.

minus the 6 weeks after delivering avery.

that leaves 4.5 months.

i can do it.

tomorrow is koyer's birthday party at amazing jakes.
i can't wait to bowl.
i wish josh and i could go bowling more.
we love it.
we even have our own bowling shoes.
mine are kind of snug since my feet grew during pregnancy.

avery is six months old today! happy half birthday baby girl!!!! i love you!

This week is Spring Break for my neices and nephew so we've had a lot of family time recently. It has been fun. We had a sleepover last night at grandma's house. We watched the princess and the frog, made peanut butter popcorn (and ate it of course), and prepared our breakfast (overnight oven french toast). We have also been crafting this week. My sisters are making aprons, but since I got a cute one for Christmas I made a carseat canopy for Avery. I haven't sewed since high school (when I was forced to for my young women's projects) so nobody look too close. I asked josh to buy me my own sewing machine so I can do more sewing projects, but he said no.

(okay, right now BYU is playing Florida and it is in over time and still tied. Florida has the ball and it is crucial that BYU steals the ball.....we are now going into double overtime. I'll keep ya'll posted)

(florida has the ball...missed their shot....byu shoots and makes a 3!!!!!! can they hold on for 4 more minutes? florida loses the ball, byu shoots again and misses--a FOUL is called. Florida's player has fouled out (secretly I'm shouting with joy). BYU misses the first free throw...makes the second. Florida is down by 4 now. They shoot and miss, get the rebound and make the shot. A foul is called on florida. BYU misses the foul shot, makes the second though. florida shoots and misses. byu shoots, but gets fouled. MISSES the first foul shot...makes the second. 3 minutes left...87 to 83. florida loses the ball, byu loses the ball, travel on florida. what a game...! florida is injured. (again secretly kind of shouting for joy inside)

Tomorrow avery and i are heading up to utah for the weekend. my dad has to go up so i figured we would just ride along.

(byu is up by 7. 1 minute left. byu gets fouled. makes one. makes two. florida misses twice, makes the third. byu holds the ball to run the clock. 42 seconds left. gets fouled. misses the free throw. misses another. florida misses a three. time out byu.)

So, back to my Utah trip. We are going to salt lake tomorrow, driving back down to blanding saturday afternoon and then back home on sunday. It is a lot of driving, but avery is so excited to see grandma and grandpa mitton, and grandma pat!
