KKM Rod Ride

Jared's boss, Kim Keller, took us out with a group of his friends for a "rod ride" in some of his hot rods. And boy were they HOT! To start out Jared picked me up in this cherry red bad boy. 2013 Corvette Grand Sport. We met up at Kim's house then traded cars to drive a 2010 camaro. It's the black one on the right. We went to dinner at Bella's Mexican restaurant then to Farr's for ice cream. We caravaned with 4 other amazing cars. Jared dropped me off to get the kids from the babysitter while he returned the car to Kim's house. Once he was there he realized his car keys were in my purse! So Kim loaned Jared a car to drive home in! His 2004 yellow corvette!

First day of preschool!

William has been counting down to his first day! He was excited to walk to school with Ammon and then continue on to his preschool. It's the Family Support Center Preschool about 3 blocks from our house. Close and convenient! This is their pilot year and Miss Lisa and Miss Jamie are very excited to get things going. They have been great to work with over the past year or two and William is very happy there. My baby is growing up!

My little Silly-Billy

Silly-William, Silly-Will, Silly-Bill, Silly-Billy! That's the sequence I say to William when he says that he's not a silly-billy. He's so funny sometimes. Occasionally he likes to stuff his kitties and his blankets into his shirt. He thinks it's funny and it seems like he does it as a comfort thing, too. He usually does it right before going to bed, it can be at night or at nap. A couple times he has fallen asleep that way :-)

First day of school!

Oops, i should have posted this one first! Ammon didn't even wait for me to take his picture or walk him to school; he was out the door to meet up with his friends while I stood there semi-dumbfounded. He really is growing up! I got a decent picture of him on his way back in at least. 4th grade!!!

Casts came off today!

After four long weeks and two extra days the casts finally came off today! Yay! We had hoped they'd come off before school started, but we had to wait. We're just three days in is all, though. Ammon was a trooper! (And so was mom!!) He's a bit sore still and I'm sure it will take some getting used to for him having them off. After the initial ER visit we were lucky enough to work with Dr. Byck, who I used to babysit for. I was a nanny to his two children, Max& Jackson. At our first appointment Dr.Byck told me that Max was leaving for college this fall! He was 8 when I started taking care if him! Time flies unbelievably fast these days. After moving in May this summer was such a blur! It's crazy that Ammon just started 4th grade! His teacher this year is Mrs. Putnam. William is looking forward to starting his first year of pre-school next week, too. My babies are both getting so big!
