From Jo Critchley at Polstitches Designs Announcement – Ancient Gods and Goddesses Limited Edition Box

For many years, Jo Critchley and I have collaborated to create these great special edition boxes, which often include exclusive designs and beautiful fabrics. Each theme allows us to explore ideas we might not usually pursue and push our boundaries, and it has been a joy to share these creations with as many people as possible.
However, with recent global changes, along with rising tariffs and production costs, we recognise that the fabric-based boxes are not always accessible to everyone. After careful consideration, we have decided to introduce a version with the option of just receiving the PDF or printed charts without fabric.
This new option will begin with the Ancient God and Goddess box, which will be released in October. The PDF version will be available directly through our website, making it possible for more people to enjoy these designs.
All orders are placed through www.polstitches-design.co.uk
My contribution to this new box is the goddess Artemis.
As goddess of the hunt, Artemis was a protector of the forest and all it’s creatures.

Step into the magic of a woodland Springtime with my latest silhouette sampler, JE337 Spring Equinox. Bunnies emerge from their winter burrows, birds are nesting in the trees, violets and snowdrops begin to bloom, and sweet fairies celebrate the glories of Spring. I’ve added sparkling accents of Kreinik braid and stitched this sampler on Polstitches Designs 28 count hand dyed ‘crocus©’ Lugana.

By request, I have just re-charted these designs, Celtic Twilight and Celtic Dawn and they will now be available in your favorite shops. Both versions are pictured on Polstitches Designs beautiful hand dyed 28 count Lugana fabric. Celtic Dawn is on ‘english rose©’ and Celtic Twilight on ‘tanzanite©’. These designs use rich colors of DMC floss along with accents of Kreinik braid and shimmering Mill Hill beads

JE328 The Pearl Collector, is at last available to everyone. This design is a tribute to my late mother-in-law Pearl Cantos, who left us this past March.
Drifting through the ocean waters, The Pearl Collector gathers her treasures from the ocean floor. Her iridescent scales and exquisite headdress shimmer with tiny Mill Hill pearl bead accents and hints of shining Kreinik metallic threads, reflecting the sunlight streaming through the rippling currents of the ocean. Stitched on Polstitches Designs 28 count ‘water garden©’ Lugana she creates a stunning image.

Today I am happy to be releasing JE322 ‘The Glory of Spring’. As you may know, I am an avid gardener and springtime is filled with an array native flowers bursting into bloom in my Vermont garden and throughout the meadows after a long winter’s sleep. This beautiful fairy is a reflection of the natural beauty and sweet gentle air we awaken to on a clear Spring morning. A tumble of blooms in fresh colors fills her arms and adorn her flowing gown. This design is stitched on 28 count ‘fairy dreams©’ Lugana from Polstitches Designs with extra shimmer from Kreinik #4 Braid and sparkling Mill Hill beads.
