SO much going on...so little time to blog!

I took the kids to circus in Idaho Falls on Monday and it was amazing! I was super impressed! The kids had a great time riding the animals and watching all the "freaky" shows. Super fun!

On Father's Day we went for a walk to the Nature Park and fed ducks. Unfortunately they were not very hungry, but we kept feeding them those carbs anyway!

Tess made this cool balloon hat out of duck tape, balloons, and jewelry. Very Creative! :)

We went to Egin Lakes one day to swim and play in the sand. I can't believe I have lived within 20 minutes of this place and have never been there! Another way fun outing!

Piper made Joel an apron for Father's day...he wore it proudly all day...even napping in it!

This is us waiting for Joel to race at the air show. My kids were all very anxious about being there that morning because of the crash we saw the night before while at the preshow, and  I must admit I was a little nervous to witness that again, too!  We were told to be there at 9 a.m. so we were, then they switched the times to 11:30 ish. I was so mad! We ended up going to breakfast with Joel's mom whish was so great, but still ended up waiting for a very long time for his 5 minutes of "fame". :)

This is the chicken coop we spent hours and hours painting. Turned out great though. Our chickens and turkeys have it pretty good!

Keaton's favorite chicken he named Cole. This chicken lets Keaton hold him and treat him it's a cat. So funny to watch.

Keaton holding our pet salamander we named Sally. It died/fried 2 days after we caught it. It was actually pretty big...this is it's little head peeping through Keaton's fingers. Poor thing.

We went on a hike to Cave Falls...actually we meant to go to Sheep Falls, but couldn't find it. Instead we ended up at Cave Falls, then followed the river on a really nice walking trail about .5 miles down. The kids loved it. Sadie said it was her favorite summer day so far.  It was a beautiful and perfect way to spend the day!

And of course, no hike would be complete without a trip to the soda fountain for a huckleberry shake! Love these things!!!!

Joel's drag race...he's the orange camaro!

Joel drag racing on Saturday at the air show. He won every race with the cars...the bullet bike smoked all the cars, but Joel did great. He got it up to 132 mph every time. Scary for me and his mom to watch! He raced about 5 times. The night before we saw a stunt plane crash into the golf course and the pilot amazingly was not hurt too bad. Scary sight to witness.

 On Mother's Day after church and dinner, we went fishing. Didn't catch anything, but had a ton of fun!

 Tess was a cook in the play Jack and the Beanstalk...she did a great job!

 We went to Bear World with Piper's class and got to pet deer, pheasants, goats, birds and saw lots of bears, moose and elk!

Piano festival and NO more dance!...

This is my dance group for the year 2011-2012. It was a bittersweet recital, seeing how this is my last year. I have been super sick with an inner ear infection and was so drugged up that I don't even think I would have cared if none of the rights songs got played or costumes were wrong or anything :) Luckily things went pretty smoothly and the girls all did great. I cannot find pics I took earlier in the season of my girls individually, so hopefully I will find them and post them soon. I am excited to not worry about dance anymore, but deep down I will miss it. t

Sadie and Tess participated in their first piano festival this year. They were so nervous, but both did great. They are at different levels, and Tess got a 99 and Sadie got a 97. Their judge was super sweet and they felt really good about how they performed. Good job girls!

Easter pigs ;)

For Easter Sunday dinner, we went to my mom's and had a fun Easter Egg hunt with the Robinson cousins and had a yummy dinner.

Our two dogs. Best Friends? Zeke thinks Bodie is only 2 months old like him...Bodie gets annoyed. It's so funny to watch them.

And yes, we are doing 4-H pigs AGAIN this year...this year Tess will do it so we got 3. One for Sadie, one for Tess and one for us to eat. Yum. ;)

Piper turns 6 & looses her first tooth!

Piper lost her first tooth in February while Joel and I were at the movie so Sadie helped her pull it out. She was SO excited!!! I personally love when they loose those 4 front teeth. It's when the come in huge and crooked that is scary!

Happy 6th Birthday by baby girl. I asked her what she wanted me to make for her cake this year and she said, "One from Albertsons!". That sure made it easy for me!

All she ever plays is babies, so she got a full size car seat so she doesn't have to share their her old one from when SHE was a baby with her sisters anymore. She was SO excited!

Piper and Keaton's Duo Birthday Party!

Keaton turned 4 on March 11th, and Piper turned 6 on March 18th, so we had a combined birthday party for them at Fat Cats where they bowled, played Balladium, mini golfed and got to play arcardes. They both invited 5 friends and had a ton of fun. It was a great way to spend out St. Patricks Day!!!
