Crazy Day!

Hey John,
Remember the day we test drove this in the morning,

Soccer

This year we planned on both Jacob and Dylan playing soccer, but since Dylan's arm was broken, Jacob just played this year.

John

John decided it was time for a change.  After 7 years as prosecutor, he left and joined a private firm. This was very bittersweet for us.  We are so happy for John and this new oppertunity, but my boys are going to miss telling people "my daddy puts bad people in jail!"

On John's first day of work, his company was treating everyone to a Diamondbacks game!  Not to shabby!

Butterfly

In pre-school every year the boys get to watch a caterpillar transform into a butterfly.  Well this was Ryan's first year and he was so excited.  Well when the butterfly did emerge, I am not sure what happen, but I found it on its back.  So sad.  When John came home, we sat Ryan down and explained to him that his butterfly had died.
Well Ryan was not going to except this.  He kept telling us that his butterfly was just sleeping.  After showing him the butterfly, we decided to bury it.  As soon as we opened the cage to lay him down, the butterfly started flapping his wings like crazy.  John and I were stunned and Ryan happily informed us that he knew his butterfly was just sleeping.  So instead of burring the butterfly, we realised it.  Kind of crazy, but ended up being a happy day!

This picture was taken minutes before John "push" Jack into the pool.  Jack was not a fan of the water!

This is the look I get when I veto Ryan's request for McDonald's for lunch.  We went to Taco Bell. :-)

For Spirit Day at the boy's school we colored their hair gold.
