I turned ONE!!!

So it was about two weeks ago that I turned the big ONE and let's say everyone in my family worked really hard so I can have a good one. It was so much fun!!!! Here are few pics from my big day...

 So if you havent noticed, my theme was monkeys, my mommy worked really hard to get this done. My grandma lili and sister Avitia provided the marshmallows which were really yummy!!

Then my actual birthday was on Monday, my folks took the day off and took me to the aquarium. I liked it better than the last time they brought me since I was only 2 months old.

HI THERE!!!

I just realized that I haven't updated our blog in a long time!!!! My folks and I have been really busy. During the holidays my aunty Gabby came from San Antonio and we went everywhere with them. I had a lot of fun at the Science Center, playing with blocks and hanging out with my cousin Ricky!! It was nice to finally be able to run around after him wait....I mean crawl. I'm not walking yet but really holding on to stuff...so my folks better watch out. But here's a pic of me opening my presents on xmas morning. I couldnt do the midnight thing, I fell asleep. My folks are crazy for staying up late!!!

After jumping around in my crib, I decided that it was a good time to drink my milk....ahhhh I love that stuff...come back soon because I'm gonna show you how my bday party went. Can you believe I'm turning 1 in a couple days?!!! It seems like yesterday I was rushing my mommy to the hospital...

My first Halloween!!!

So yesterday was my first Halloween and had a blast!!! My mommy was able to take a few pics....

These are the pumpkins that my folks bought one weighed 26lbs and the other 21lbs (that's about what I weigh!!!) But here I am thinking what I'm going to do....hey maybe I'll throw them down the steps!!

Oh so my mommy was able to get her carving on with our pumpkins (she does this every year). She was able to get them done as soon as we started giving out candies

yup I'm still 6 months and my mommy finally was able to work on pictures she has taken through out the months....here's a look of me during my 1/2 year of life...

Here I am telling mommy that I didnt want to take pictures and was about two weeks old 

I was tired alot back then....what can I say, it's tiring being cute!!!

Then at 2 months, I was like hey there is more to life than just sleeping....hey I think my cheeks started to grow here!! 

Yeah I'm beginning to think that my mom likes to take pics of me when I'm cranky... 

Then 3 months came... not much change 

At 4 months I'm starting to smile more at mommy when she takes out the camera

 At 5 months I found my hands and they're very tasty!!!

I'm 6 months!!!

So my mommy took me to the doctor last week and she found out that I now weigh 18lbs and 13oz (hey I'm not 19lbs yet!!). Also I'm now 25 3/4 inches long. Besides checking out how much I grew, they gave me a few shots (yeah those dont feel too good). I didnt cry much but it seem grandma nena was more affected by it. By the way it was her birthday last week and mommy took some time off to spend the day with her and me. We had alot of fun!! We took grandma to medieval times...that's right my parents took me!! I liked the fact that we were the blue knight but he lost at the end of the night and I lost interest by then....so I took a nap!!! Other stuff that we have been up to....is that mommy and daddy have been working on the house...so far we have new windows and most of the painting has been completed!!! YAY!!! we're almost there, I cant wait to have my new room!!

The other day my mommy found me trying to escape my carseat...that's right I got caught redhanded!!!

So we have a house!!!

That's right we were able to find a house and let's just say this is taking alot of time from my folks...this particular journey took us a year and we're so happy!!

It's been alot of work but we know once we are done, we are going to have a  great house!!! My room looks awesome!!!

Besides that.....I'm almost six months (on Saturday!!) but I started eating cereal and you know I rather have what my parents eat but hey its a start!!! here are some pics from my folks

I'm Back!!!!

So this weekend I had fun with my parents...my buddy Liam was able to visit me this past weekend. My folks took care of him while his folks were attending a wedding. But my parents did a good job of taking care of the both of us!!! We had fun.

Also on Friday my partner in crime has finally arrived!!! Yup that's right! My cousin Noah Benjamin was born!!! He gave his mommy a run for her money...she was in labor for 18 hours...but then again, that's what I did to my mommy!!! I guess we just roll like that....Here's a pic of him! I can't wait until he gets my age...

Now I'm giggling and love to talk especially to my monkey pal (a mirror in my mommy's car), I have lots of monkey pals!!! The last time I went to the Dr's I was weighing 14lbs right now I have no idea and not insterested in finding out!!!

I'm 4 months and its Father's Day weekend!!

So my Mommy and I decided that we will give Daddy his present before time because there was a 14 day return policy. We didnt know if Daddy was going to want to exchange or return so we decided to give it to him. He was so thrilled and cant wait to use it...if you're wondering what we gave him well look at the photo below....

That's right we got him and Ipad and Daddy almost went through the roof when he saw it.

On another note, my mommy misses Grandpa Victor and reminds me that I look so much like him....what do you think? do you see any resemblance???

and now I'm officially 4 months!!! I weigh 14lbs and measure 23 inches...well that's just 9lbs more and 6.5 inches more than when I was born!!! Right now I'm a chatter box, I love talking to my parents and everyone in sight. Also, I love talking to myself too!!!

Yay I'm 3 months!!!

So I figure that I will keep updating this thing since my folks are busy with me and all. I had my Dr's check up on May 12 and so far the doc says I'm doing good. Also that I was too early to get my next set of shots and believe me I'm this was a huge relief on my part. So far I'm 13lbs, measure 21 inches in length and my head has grown too!!! It's been a fun month, my mommy hasnt had a chance to take my three month pics yet but here are some things that I have done lately....oh yeah I found out I have two hands and love to suck on them. I'm also sleeping good at night up to 5-6 hrs per night and finally have conquered the rock n play. I'm a big boy and sleep in my own crib!!! but that's with my side pillows and boppy :) My daddy tucks me in every night and I like spending that time with him.

June 6th: So I'm almost four months and I still haven't posted this on our blog. I wanted to add recent photos of me but my mommy is having some technical difficulties. But in the meantime, I can tell you that I went back to my Dr's office and believe me I didnt like it...I got my next series of shots but didnt cry much since my folks were there with me. So far I'm at 14lbs and I grew 2 inches making it 23!!! well I think all the sleep that I'm getting is making me grow. Anyways my mommy took photos of me last week and she is going to post some in a bit...see ya next month!!!

Mateo here again!! sorry that I haven't updated our blog but really I have been busy sleeping so I can grow more. I had a Dr's appointment the other day and was told that have gained a couple pounds. Back then I was 8lbs and 6oz and measured 20 inches (initially I was 5lbs 1 oz and measured 16.5 inches). Also, I was told that my head has grown 3 inches too!!! My folks were really happy that I'm growing and now are letting me sleep as long as I tell them that I'm hungry and need a diaper change.

So anyways besides telling you how handsome I'm getting....I also wanted to say that finally I received my blessing from my daddy, it was a special moment for my folks and I...also...kinda spit up a little during the process (well that's what my uncle jacob was saying). But my mommy took some photos of the event ...check out the photos...

So I figured since my parents write here all the time that it's now my turn!!! I have been a really happy kid this past month. I cry when I'm hungry, wet, or just fussy and I just want to cuddle with my parents but hey its not a bad living!!! and so you can have an idea, I let them know that I'm hungry every 2-3 hours every 24 hours!! Today my mommy took photos of me and while I was sleepy the whole time...I figure I would let her you know parents they want to take pics of every single movement you do...yeah well I'm just too cute!!!
