Tee Hee Hee!!
I decided to ask what was going on and the following conversation took place.
"Mary whats up?"
"Julie I don't know who I am going to marry!"
"Mary that's ok you have some time to figure that out."
"But I turn 6 in 4 weeks."
"I know isn't that cool. You get to get more presents after Christmas."
"Yeah but who am I going to marry...ummmm...it's ok I will know when I turn 6!"
What the?!?!? Where did that come from? I must say I was proud at myself for not laughing but goodness it was tough!

Sometimes Mondays BITE!!!
my alarm went off way too early. I pulled myself out of bed and thought man I feel like I have been run over by a truck. However I hurried and got dressed and went into the boys room. That is where I got a whiff of urine. One of the children had wet and then chose to lay in the urine until the bed and all of his blankets were soaked. The only reason I got mad was because I had heard him talking about 30 minutes before it was time to get up.
So I was miffed, told him to strip his bed and get ready to take a bath. Phew it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I still had hope for the day. Silly me!!! I went and woke Mary up and walked into the laundry room to start a load. Well as I walked in I almost passed out!!! The smell was horrible. The puppy sleeps in there and sometime in the morning she had been sick and had explosive poop all over her kennel. Hello.
I picked her up, thankfully she somehow was clean and put her outside while I tried to figure out not only how to clean it up, but make the smell go away. Those of you who know me well know I gag pretty easily. So yes I gagged a lot!!
Finally it was time to feed the troops. Well guess what not one but two of the kids dumped their cereal all over the table and floor. Hooray!! Needless to say everybody lived and they did get to school on time.
I did a few things around the house, took care of a sick puppy, and a sick child. I put the child down for a nap and finally sat down and tried to nap myself. Then my phone rang. It was Jonathan asking me if I remembered it was an early out day. (Who came up with that idea?) I had indeed forgot the children. My bad!! Luckily he was close enough and went to get them for me!!
Then I went to change the pee load that I had to run twice and I looked in the dryer and lo and behold Jonathan had not emptied his pockets and got gum and receipt paper all over the inside of my new dryer. When he got home he got to clean that up.
Finally I decided we need some fun so we went to the dollar movie for FHE and the got Little Caesars for dinner. Now they are all in bed and I am so happy that everybody is still alive.
THE END

Announcement!!!
I actually think this will be a good thing for the kids. The oldest has a lot of fears and has been acting out. This little doggy won't take no for an answer when she wants to be loved and love she won't go away. So this has been fun watching the kids with her.
Ok truth be told I am a sucker for animals and I fell in love with her. She is my buddy. In fact last night I cut Jonathan's hair, he shaved and showered....well when he came walking towards me my fierce puppy put her paw across me and barked at Jonathan. She was my little protector. HA!!
I failed....

Just Breathe
I decided I didn't want to be one of those moms who just stays at home with the kids. Ok honestly I don't do well staying home day after day. So I decided to take the kids up to the Provo Canyon up by Vivienne Park. They haven't had the chance to go up there so after school we went on a little adventure. Don't worry the kids made sure I brought snacks and drinks. The weather was gorgeous but because the trees were losing their leaves it was a HUGE reminder that winter is on its way. So sad!! Anyhow here are a few pics of the afternoon.
Politics AAAAGGGHHHH!!
I really didn't want to blog about politics because frankly people in general tend to take it all personally. So as a disclaimer this is meant as only my opinion and is not I repeat IS NOT directed at any one individual.
With that said, I am so proud of those of you who are putting yourselves out there in support of prop 8. It can not be a comfortable thing and I know many of you have felt the hate and backlash for what you are standing up for. I know many people keep arguing that we need to keep state and church separate but I know that for many of us the church is such an integral part of who we are that we can not and will not walk away from what we believe. So to those of you putting yourselves out there you have my respect and admiration.
I am so very saddened by the members of my faith who have chosen to speak out against the church because the church has asked its members to vote and to support prop 8. My heart is so said hearing members talk out against our leaders and really against God.
We really are in a time where we need to stand up for what we believe. I guess we are watching the sifting begin and I will be honest it hurts to watch. To those of you who oppose prop 8 I respect that and hope that you can respect my beliefs. We live in a country where we can and should feel safe being able to voice our thoughts, opinions, beliefs etc.
Phew I feel a bit better now....I think.

Pumpkins!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to lie I was ready for a nap at the end of our little adventure. Oh yeah when we were riding in the trailer behind the tractor this is the funny little conversation I had with Nathan.
Nathan "Julie I don't know who made this trailer."
Julie "Me either."
Nathan "Hmmmmmm I think it was Jesus."
Julie " Ummmmm probably not. I don't think he came to the trailer making place and made one. But he made the earth and that's where the wood came from."
Nathan " How did he make the earth and the wood?"
Julie " Wow look at all of the pumpkins!!"
Nathan "Yeah."
Phew I totally dodged that question. Lol!!!
