Disneyland Update

Ohhh, was Disneyland an adventure and one of the best vacations ever! Our favorite person in the world, Daddy, was able to spend the weekend with us in Disney. With the girls lathered up in sunblock and fueled with plenty of H2O we headed off for a fun filled day at the park. Apparently, all of Utah had the same idea. Something about UEA??? Really obnoxious, but the crowds aside we loved every minute of it. Eva and Kate cried on the Snow White ride, seriously this is Disney, we had no idea we needed to prescreen some of the rides. After we convinced Eva that Disneyland was still totally awesome and not scary we got her onto some of the fun rides, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Peter Pan.... Disneyland was ready for Halloween and the fireworks were fantastic!!! Eva said, "Mom, we have to see that again" We said goodbye to Jon on Sunday night (Thank you to the worlds most sensitive and attentive Dad, we are so lucky to have you) and hello to Grandma Bing, Cheri, Taylor, Luke, Sonia, Ryan, Noel, JoJo, and Seth. Eva was more excited to see her cousins than she was for Disneyland. It was worth every penny to see her so happy with her cousins. Thanks to Noel and Taylor for making Eva feel so special. She looks up to you and you are both such amazing examples. For the next three days we hauled to the kids through Disneyland. The kids were great! Even Kate was pleasant considering she didn't get any real naps. To sum it all up; Eva's favorite ride was the Matahorn, based on giggling, I would say Kate's favorite ride was Peter Pan, JoJo's favorite ride was the bus ride back to the hotel, and I loved the Tower of Terror (thanks Noel for holding my hand). This trip made me realize how lucky we are to have families and what an essential part to Heavenly Father's plan families are. We miss everyone at home, especially all the fun and laughter. It's a crazy brew those Smith's and Binghams. We miss you all, love the California Bings! It's our new tag... like it? It's really not a question we are keeping it either way.

Birthday Cakes

Since the girls birthdays are only five days apart we celebrated them both on the same day. They each got to pick out their own cake and we sang to each of them seperately. Kate wanted nothing to do with the cake and Eva only wanted ice cream. For the grandparents, I posted videos of us singing to the girls.

Eva turns 3

Image
For Eva's birthday, we got a babysitter for Kate and took Eva to dinner and a movie. She was so happy to be out with us and we had so much fun. We took her to Ice Age and we had to watch the movie with 3D glasses on. She chose ice cream over popcorn (a true Bingham) so after the show we headed to cold stone. Eva is curious little girl with a sensitive heart. She is growing up so fast. She is already asking to take the training wheels off of her bike. We told her we would take them off when she learned how to stop! She is fearless, which is a blessing and a curse. Happy birthday Eva, we love you.
