Easter Day

On Easter we woke up and had a very quick Easter egg/basket hunt and then got ready to go to church. I was able to get a few pictures of them in their cute outfits.

We arrived early at church so we took a few more pictures in front of this gorgeous fountain.

After church we had to wait in line to take a little bus to our car, and the kids waited so patiently! They thought it was fun riding on the bus.

After church we went to Gma and Gpa's house for another Easter egg hunt!

The kids made resurrection rolls with Gma.

He thought it would be better to put his head in the basket, rather than eggs! He changed his mind quickly once he saw his eggs lying around.

Cooper is showing Ben where his egg was. They each had to find about 24 eggs. The grown-ups also had an Easter egg hunt that was VERY competitive. We'll have to video-tape that next time :).

Easter Eggs

I thought this was so cute how Jackson is laying on Cooper while he's reading to them!


We had fun dying Easter Eggs this year. We didn't do it last year so I was happy to finally do it this year.

Woops, I had to reach into a too-small cup to get the egg out and my hand was dyed like this for quite awhile-this was after I washed my hands multiple times!


Jackson had some difficulties holding the eggs so we put them in this whisk. It worked great!Cooper made some beautiful eggs! He had his own ideas-had me draw a cross on one of them and wanted me to draw a picture of Jesus on one of them! He wrote "Jesus" on one of the eggs.

That blue one was the one where he wrote Jesus. You can only see a few of the letters there.

A random funny picture of Jackson- he got a sheet of stickers as a gift and put every single one of them on his shirt! Hilarious.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday we always go to church and then go to my parents' afterward for the kids to find their easter baskets. We of course get pictures of all the kids together!

My parents had company this weekend, our long-time family friends Robin and Jim, so they were nice enough to take a few pictures for us.

The kids were of course excited to find their Easter baskets!

Robin was playing with Jackson, he takes a little while to warm up to new people, but then he loves playing with them.

We always get silly string in the Easter baskets- one of their favorite activities (and mine too! :))

This was the best picture I could get of my family.

We recently painted some flower pictures with celery-the kids had a lot of fun and it started out pretty clean which I loved.

It didn't end that way.

Easter Activities

We went to our local egg hunt before Easter and the boys had a blast! Cooper met the Easter bunny-Jackson was not a fan.

They split the kids by ages so I walked with Jackson so I didn't get a picture of Cooper doing the hunt.

And he's off!

They also had some fun games and a bounce house. Here the boys are watching a puppet show!

Cooper's school also had an Easter party. I'm one of the room moms so we were in charge of planning the party. They first had an egg hunt...

then we did a group picture of the class. (I cut a few kids off, oops!)

Then we had a few activities planned...they put on bunny ears and had to hop and find easter eggs...

then they did an egg spoon race.

They then decorated cupcakes.

Last, we had some extra time so we played "hot eggs" (instead of hot potato).This was just the start of our Easter activities!
