Breckyn Chloe
Well our little Las Vegas showgirl made her grand entrance on Jan 18, 2011. She is so perfect and I still cant believe that she is here. She almost made her grand entrance a little too soon (like in the car), but we all are safe and doing well. That morning I woke up and felt a little different but no contractions so I kinda figured in the next day or so she might be coming. Jason was going to school to take a Pharmacology exam that he was really worried about. He had threatened me for weeks not to go into labor before that exam. Yeah, like I can control that! Macks and I were hanging out at home and I put him down for a nap at 2:00 and while I was laying there I felt two pretty strong contractions that hurt, so I started timing them. I had two that were exactly 10 min apart and then it was 3 min, 3 min, 3 min, and I started getting worried. "Was this it? I don't know, how do I know, who do I call?" I called the labor and delivery at the hospital and she said they like them 3 min apart lasting 1 1/2 min. Well mine were pretty short but they were definately every 3 min. So I called Jason and said you better come home I think I am in labor. Mind you this was only 2 hours after he had finished his Pharm exam! By the time he got home and we got in the car to take Macks to the neighbors house it was 3 or 3:30! We still had a 1/2 hour car ride to get to the hospital. The whole way there it was still every 3 min. When we got there and checked in they told me to wait in the waiting room and they would call me. So here I am laboring in the waiting room of the hospital with everyone watching me ... super! It seemed like forever, but Jason said it was only like 10 min, and they finally called me up ... to sign papers! OK thank you have a seat again we will call you when a nurse is free! Really? How long will that take? Not sure just whenever they have a nurse free. So by now I am really hurting and they better hurry up. I told Jason to go and get someone because I am going to have this baby. He is trying to help me relax while we wait but I just need to get back there because this baby is not waiting. Well they finally call me back after another 5 min or so and she tells me to change into a gown. Everyone says, "breath, breath" I say, "let me show you how this feels". The second I finished putting my gown on I told Jason I need to push now and I hit the emergency cord. Well everyone and their dog comes running to see whats the matter. My nurse just said ok your going to a room! So she was pushing me to get to a room and into a bed. I got there and 10 min later Breckyn was here! No doctor, drugs, IV, no name in the computer, baby caught by nurse Vicky, and we all lived happily ever after. It was one club I did not want to join ... the au natural club! I went from 20 hours of labor and induction with Macks to 2 1/2 hours with Breckyn! She is such a good baby, thank heavens! Macks loves his little sister so much and is really good with her. I spent two days in the hospital, but it was nice to just spend some time with my little girl! Thankful to be back home and getting back into a routine!

9 weeks left
So being 9 weeks away from adding a little one to our family has me a little nervous. That means I am able to count on both hands now! So is there any advice for going from 1 - 2 kids? Is there anything I should know ... besides don't do it? Both of us are getting excited at the same time to welcome this little girl into our family and see what she's like.

White Coat Ceremony
Jason got his white coat last month for school. It was pretty cool to see and we are all really proud of him. School is keeping him very busy so we don't get to see alot of him but enjoy the times that we do have together. He loves all the things that he is studying and will make a great PA!
Today is Turkey Day and we are enjoying a day off! But today we are having ribs instead of turkey! Yum. We'll have to take pictures and post more later!

I'm gonna write a book!
So I have been thinking alot lately why in the world hasn't anyone written a (good) book about all this baby stuff! So I have decided that I am going to start it and put in it all the little secrets that no one tells you about having kids! These are some things that I have discovered, feel free to add your own that I may not know yet.
1. Do everything you want to before you have kids!
2. Routine, Shmoutine, As soon as you figure it out...they change!
3. There is a mandatory baby class that all must attend before coming to earth titled "How to get into everything I shouldn't" (which my child mastered by the way)
4. Invest in a DVR ... haven't seen my favorite shows for quite some time!
Well this is it for tonight but there will be more later!

Small Fry!!!
We went for Macks 9 month appointment today and found out we have a small fry! At 9 months he is only is the 25th percentile for weight and I think 30th for height, but he has a whopper of a head in the 60th percentile...go figure!
Thanks to a Dr. at work he was able to dress up for Halloween! He brought me in one of his kids old ones the Friday before Halloween! He wasn't the biggest fan of the costume. It didn't last long, but he came to visit me at my trunk or treat that night.
He's not crawling quite yet but loves to be doing something constantly! Loves to stand up and jump in the mirror still! We really love our little punkin'

Back from the dead!!!
I know don't fall off your chairs, I am actually posting something for the first time in several months! I gave up for a while because I had NO time to do anything let alone worry about this stuff! He hasn't been the easiest baby for sure, but the last few months he has gotten really good. We spent Labor day weekend letting him learn to cry himself to sleep but now he sleeps really good at night! What a relief. I love this little guy so much. I love seeing him smile and laugh and make silly sounds. I am so lucky to be his momma!
This is by far our favorite past time...jumping in the mirror. He knows what a mirror is for sure. Any time we pass one he does a double take and nearly jumps out of my arms! I am going to have one vain kid because with or without clothes he loves to see himself in the mirror!

So this is what we wake up to every morning! He has become such a good sleeper!
