Travis and I are so happy to finally announce to everyone that Carter will be a big brother! Our baby is Due September 8, 2012! We are so excited and just found out today that it is another Boy! I love my boy so having another one will be just perfect. We kept our pregnancy a secret for about 3 months from our family. I felt like I was starting to show, even though no one even suspected anything, but that's what all pregnant women think. I felt like I was huge and no one looked at me any different. So anyways, we made a cute announcement and mailed them out to our family. Then we waited for another month to find out what we were having. I kinda liked doing it this way. It made finding out the sex a lot quicker in my mind.
A little about this pregnancy. It has been just as wonderful as the first time. I wasn't very sick at all, mostly in the morning but never had to throw up so that was really nice. I figure I will know when I am having a girl because I will be so sick. I am not looking forward to that but I do hope there is a little girl in our future. Now the hard part is over and we now just play the waiting game until our baby comes. Also we have come up with a name, unless of course we change our mind in the next months ahead. His name will be Jace Eliot Casperson. Eliot is Travis's Grandpas name.
I am already cleaning out our second bedroom and getting things going. I am so excited to decorate this next room. If it's anything like the last I will be going all out again. Carters room was a blast, we did it in a mossy green color, cattails on the wall by his crib, camo bedding, and of course ducks all around. So I am pretty excited to start this next room since I love Carters so much.
Here are a couple pictures of my belly so far and our cute announcement.
Oh and one last thing we also gave some of our family cupcakes with a
question mark on the top and inside it was either pink or blue. They
were all so excited to find out this way. I found so many cute Ideas on
pinterest so I had to use them. Travis and I can't wait to add to our
already amazing family. I know Carter will be an amazing big brother and
I can't wait to have a newborn again!
Ok so we skipped 3. Not because I wasn't showing but simply I forgot and it has been a crazy month.

Carters First Birthday
Wow I can't believe it has already been a year! My boy is getting so big and I wish he would just stay little. This last year has been the best year and I can't wait for all the years to come.
A little bit about Carter:

A little bit about Carter:
- He is such a smart boy, he doesn't push himself but once he wants to do something he picks it up right away.
- He is still Crawling all the time and not walking, but once again he won't push himself so I know it will come.
- First word was Duck. He will say Du to everything.
- Hates his hands touched or anything on his hands. He is a very clean little boy
- Loves to play peak-a-boo with just about anyone.
- Loves pears and any kind of fruit. He also loves pickles and olives just like his mom!
- Very Picky eater!
- Loves animals and gets really excited when I let him sit on our horse
- He loves loves loves to sit in boxes. Any one that he can climb into he will and then just sit and play.
- He has figured out how to unlock things such as a dog crate. He will sit and study something until he figures it out.
- Has 11 teeth including 4 molars. This has been hard since he is sooo fussy lately with those coming in.
- Loves to talk and he sings too. Its like when he talks but in a high pitch voice.
- Loves his baths and gets so upset when we take him out.

Christmas Time
Ok so I think if you look back at almost every post I have done I say how I am going to be better at blogging but yet again that hasn't happened. So I am going to skip to Christmas and hopefully now that I am a stay at home mom I can keep more up to date! For Christmas we first went and saw Santa at the 25th street lights. Carter did so good. He sat on his lap and just stared at him and then started to play with is beard. He is such a good boy nothing really makes him cry. Then we had a couple family parties before Christmas, Carter had a blast but still didn't understand what was going on.
At temple square. Carter froze and wouldn't let me put gloves on him. I felt so bad! But he still had fun.
On Christmas day we got up around 9 and opened presents. Carter finally figured out how to open them once he could see what was inside. He got so spoiled this year. Lots of toys from everyone and two presents he loves, one a horse that's about 3 feet tall that you can sit and ride on and then a bulseye the rocking horse that is just low enough to the ground that he can get on and off. We had such a fun time this year. I really have to say Christmas is so much better when you have a kid. I can't wait for next year and all the future years to come. Here are some pictures from Christmas.

My new hobby!
So I have been kinda busy lately creating wonderful things out of old furniture. I found this blog and I was inspired to refinish furniture! I love it so far and it is so fun when I find furniture that I know will look amazing after I fix it up. I have also learned that I should probably find more furniture before I sell my old stuff. Why you ask? Because I have been living without a dresser for over 2 months and I am sick of my clothes being on the floor. My husband suggested buying just a basic dresser but I said no I have to find one I can refinish. So here are my projects I have done so far. My turquoise night stand is my favorite by far!! I have also been doing mirrors and stuff but I didn't really take pictures of those.
