On Friday I took Arya and Addy to the $1 Store and let them pick out an item. At the checkout there were a box of cds. They looked like nice ones and were new so I started to look through them. After reading some song titles I chose one and put it on the conveyor belt; my item. If it doesn't work out, I said to myself. I'm only out $1. So I eagerly put it on in the van on the way home and was happy to find that I liked the band. The cd cover was so nice and inside had one of those little booklets with all the words to the songs. So, why in the world was this cd at the $1???
When I got home I put the girls to bed and put the cd on the computer to listen to the music while I put together a poster for the Western Regional Dental Conference. Well the cd had a video, Making of the band and the title track, Save Me.
Save Me? There wasn't a track entitled Save Me. I listened and watched the band sing part of the title song...wait a minute. The company actually forgot to include the title track on the cd! Hahaha! So I got all the fun songs, minus the title track for a buck! Wawho!
My favorite on the track is called, Wonderful. The CD is entitled, Save Me. By the PAT McGEE BAND.
The I love the song, Wonderful because it fits in perfectly with one of my scenes in my book which if a song does its an instant success with me.

I'm The Best Mom Ever!
Yesterday morning it's been three months trying to potty train Arya with minimal success. After heading to the potty only to have an accident at the base of the potty I put Arya straight into the tub. Pasting my gleeful mommy smile on and with bright eyes informed Arya that accidents were okay. While proceeding with the clean up I started singing at the top of my lungs, "I am the best mommy in the world, I am so awesome, I love being me, I'm the best mom ever!"...Well you get the picture. Then Arya started to sing, "We are a happy family" and we enjoyed the time together. So in summary, it's all about having the right attitude!
Suffering from reading night hangover
I feel I woke up with my first hangover ever! That is from reading my favorite romance novel ever! With a slight headache I opened my eyes after just four hours of sleep when two energetic children entered my room, one of which elbowed me in the throat. Good Morning!
I picked up, Before the Season Ends at my library on a whim a couple of months ago and was pleasantly pleased to find myself deeply engrossed in its pages not but 25 pages in. I found myself staying up till 2am that morning, giggling, having hot flashes, and squealing in suspense. Linore Rose Burkard has written such a wonderful inspirational christian romance that I'm sure once you read will become a favorite of yours too! Soon after I had to go out and buy her second novel, a sequel The House in Grosnvenor Square which was also delightfully romantic and suspenseful. Linore has just come out with her third book, The Country House Courtship which I have yet to read! So go get one to read and check out her website under my Favorites.

Happy Halloween!!!
We had a great time this week, getting into our costumes more than five times for activities like school, dance class, library, bookstore, etc.
Addy loved being a elephant and Arya loved her kitty.
The girls both won the costume contest at Boarders Bookstore after participating in their parade.

Guts
We had a great time carving pumpkins and practicing trick or treating (on our room doors) last night for family home evening. Addy chose a kitty pumpkin face and Arya a silly face. We danced till 9pm in the kitchen and watched them glow.

P.S. Thank you Abuela Buck for sending the girls the cute clothes. The girls loved them and had to put on the pair of matching pjs as soon as they were out of the box.

Happy 2nd Birthday Arya!!!
Arya had a fun birthday party with Grandma and Grandpa this past Saturday. We let her sleep in until 10:30am and then played at home until the afternoon where we went to a fun local farm. Later that night we did cake and presents. She had a great day!

Arya was thrilled to finally get a bike like her sister.
