Anna getting into the dogs food.  She's a stinker!  Loves to get into their food and dump their water when I'm not looking.
ImageShe also loves to open the dishwasher and pull out dishes.  Why don't they have a child lock?  Or at least mine doesn't. She also is into opening up kitchen cabinets and pulling out bowls or canned goods.  The other day I walked into my bedroom.  I found a small jar of pimentos on my night stand and a can of tuna halfway sticking out from under my bed.  You never know!  She is making animal sounds.  Funny to hear what a horse says, or see what a monkey does.  Lately she is into screaming.  All of a sudden at the top of her lungs she will scream.  Doesn't appear she wants something.  Or sometimes she wants a drink.  She loves her sippy cup of milk.  She has already started calling the hogs when she sees a Razorback.  Makes Mimi proud!

Happy Birthday Corey!
We went to Rogers last weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday which is actually today.  We had a Razorback theme going on since they played that day and we all had our red and white on.  In this picture, my mom is holding Elle, and Eston is taking a front seat to the cake.  I still can't believe my little brother is 34.  He should still be forever 7 or 8.  We were two and a half years apart and played together alot when we were kids.  He played Barbies with me, and I, in turn, played GI Joe and cars with him.  We loved our sandbox and making bike ramps in the front yard.  We rode bikes alot and had lots of kids in our neighborhood to play with.  We all got along great.
Happy Halloween!!
This year, Anna went as Yoda, and Eston went as Iron Man.  Surprisingly, Anna liked her costume and actually brought it to us to put it on her.  She even liked the hat.  So, this winter when it's cold, and she won't let me put a real hat on her to keep her warm, don't be surprised if she's sporting Yoda ears!

As we were driving to a few houses to trick or treat, Anna dug into her candy bag and pulled out this sucker.  She unwrapped it herself and stuck it in her mouth.  She's never had a sucker before, but she sure knew what to do with it.  Sticky everywhere!!

Here we are relaxing in "the green chair" with a bowl of popcorn.  Anna loves popcorn and will come running when she hears it popping.

Sports!!
It's fall, and we are busy with sports.  We are going to Razorback football games when we can or watching them on tv.  Eston's playing his second season of soccer.  We have a game every Saturday morning and practice on Monday evenings.  The season is soon coming to a close though.  I've helped coach this season, and it's been really fun.  Eston has also started watching some NFL football on tv occasionally with Travis. He is really trying to learn the rules.  He knows when he sees that yellow flag that someone has done something wrong, he says.   Here are the kids sporting their NFL attire! My mom and Corey went to a Cowboys game a few weeks ago.

They like to race around our kitchen into the living room and into the office.  It makes a complete circle and it's all hardwood floor for the wheels to go fast on!

I first thought a carrot exploded when Miss Diana sent me this picture. No, Anna is painting!  Image

Being 1 wears you out!!
Anna is growing!  And walking!  Sometimes running!  And screaming (if you don't get her what she wants)!  And smiling! And loving it when you read her books! And only drinking milk from her sippy cups (refuses juice...occasionally drinks some water)!  And loving to play with her big brother...most of the time taking his toys or messing up his train tracks or taking apart his trailer from the truck!  And giving kisses!  And signing "more" all the time! And waving! And cutting tooth #9, 10, 11, and 12 at the same time! And acting like she's the biggest, tallest, most important member of the family (why of course)!  All this wears a girl out!
She had to have several breathing treatments this spring after her bout with pneumonia.  Here is Travis givng her one as she is sleeping through it.  She got so used to them, that she wouldn't cry or throw a fit when we put the mask to her face.

Don't worry Miss Diana, this picture was not taken recently.  We have no bottles in the house.  We finally broke her of her dependancy by 13 months.  She loves her sippy cups and signs "more" and "milk".  She doesn't say words much.  Just an "eh" and a point to whatever she wants usually gets her point across.  She's wearing 24 month clothes and weighs 28 lbs at 15 months old. Beach!!
We took a trip to Orange Beach, Alabama, in mid July.  We went with my mom and my brother's family.  Here are several pictures of our trip.
Anna (12 Months) and her cousin Elle (7 Months) had a good time sitting on the beach under the tent on the blanket.
Image
Eston loved playing in the sand and swimming with Travis in the ocean.  Travis would grab his hands and lift him over the waves.  Trav got a good upper arm workout!

I am so far behind! I don't have a computer at home since ours crashed. My pictures are at work, and for some reason the boss man wants me to actually work when I'm at the office! The office has been very busy lately, too. So, here are pictures from Anna's birthday, July 1st.
Here is the birthday princess herself:Image She didn't really go for the cupcake. At this time, she was not eating many solid foods. She was really stubborn to eat real food. Now, two months later, she will eat just about anything I put in her mouth. She loves to eat and has a huge belly! Miss Lilly at school says Anna stands at the kitchen door and signs "more" so she will feed her as she is cooking lunch. She loves vegetables and cantelope. Sounds like, once again, I will have a good eater, thanks to the Ford side of the family.

Image We had a great turnout for her birthday. Mimi, Uncle Corey, Aunt Whitney, Cousin Elle, Nurse Chris, Amber, Molly, Brent, Sammie, Tatum, Stratton, Nurse Di, Ms. Lo, Dominic, Ms. Whitney, Jordan, Mr. Frank, Miss Lilly, Diana, Franky, and Angela all came to help us celebrate Anna's first birthday. I am so thankful for all our friends and family!
