January Recap/Resolution Time

January 2012 has been decent here in the North Country, and we are 6 months and counting before we say our goodbyes and head towards warmer weather.  What is new? I am still in school - finished up a winterim Anthropology class (3 weeks of one of the best classes I've ever taken.. and am now enrolled in A&P II.  Aden is almost 3 and we are in party planning mode for his Pirate Birthday Bash!  He is recognizing over half of the alphabet and sings songs (how sweet!).  We have also made tremendous progress with daycare, at this point he is happy to see me go for a few hours so he can play with his friends.  Tanner finished his bachelor's degree program and is looking towards OCS or Warrant Officer School, so lets keep fingers crossed ;).

I have made and broken New Years Resolutions every single year.  The year is always started with good intentions, unfortunately I rarely get the outcome I was hoping for.  Live happier and healthier - lets be realistic, I am NOT going to go the gym everyday, but I do plan on making little changes in my days to accomplish the -er.  Afterall, anything is better than nothing at this point.  Kill 'em with kindness - I am spoiled and persistant, but I am working on seeing the world through other people's eyes and whether I agree with them or not - treating them respectfully.  Let go - there are alot of things that I have "lost" over the past year(s).  The plan is to put on my big girl panties and deal with it!  Improve my relationships - I have horrible relationships with most people, I recognize the need to go the extra mile and I plan on doing that.

I need some new hobbies, one of them is going to be photography since Tanner splurged on my Christmas present.  (He thinks I don't know its suppose to be a tool for me to make money).  I love taking pictures, so this one should be easy to work on.
