Things are going to look weird on here for a while becuase I am redoing my blog. It is going to take a while b/c I am about to go out of town. And there is the whole thing about learning photoshop. Takes a while. I hope to have something cute. I made something to try- not what I want it to look like, but just something to try to figure out how to do Html.

In sad news, my grandma, Conk, died this morning. It was very peaceful and she lived a long, full life. I miss her so much. Thank you to all of my sweet friends who have been praying for us.

Mama Mia

A friend called today and invited me to go see Mama Mia. Since I have only seen 4 movies since we have lived here, it seemed like a good thing to do. My sweet husband took care of the girls and got them to bed so I could go. Wow is all I have to say. I had no idea it was a musical. I think Julie and I were the only ones in there under 45. They were all smiling and laughing. We were too, but only because we were mocking it. I was surprisingly very entertained at the ridiculous amounts of singing. It was like they made up the songs as they went. I think James Bond does better being James and not singing. If I were you I would rethink going. I did score a HUGE bag of cotton candy. I am very against paying high prices for food at the movies, but I love me some cotton candy. It is like the never ending bag! It is so tightly packed that even though I ate it for 30 min, it looks like none is gone. This way I have a treat for the girls for tomorrow!

Well, not many people guessed, but it was grapes. Yes, the disgusting bag from a few days ago was grapes. Not exactly the way I like to have them!

My friend Jen had her precious baby yesterday! She is so cute! It is amazing how much more I can appreciate everything going on when it is someone else's baby. When I had my girls there was so much going on that I couldn't soak it all in. Travis and I can hardly remember the girls being that small!

Annika has been so helpful in writing this blog. You just can't imagine. :) She just left and came back with her box full of tools and said, "you move, I working." We will have to work on manners a different time. It was so cute all I could do was laugh.

OK, so there is something cool in OH

Today we went with some friends who are moving to this really cool place in Gahana- which is about 20 min from our
house. It was so cool! This is just one picture from it. If you want to see the rest just e-mail me! The girls had so much fun! They got to play in water fountains, this creek, climb on rocks,
feed ducks, find big sticks, eat ice cream, and get wet. This place is beautiful! I can't believe it has been here the whole
time. We went to eat with some friends at a place called Old Bag of Nails the other day that overlooks this creek. That's
when we got hooked! You have to come see it- it is great!

Ok, so I have loved this purse at Target. Travis said it was a little too big- what do you think? I sadly returned it today. I agree in the pic it looks too big, but I love the color. Green is my new favorite!

I love this girl. I wish I could freeze her. She is so perfect. She talks like crazy and says the cutest things. Oh, she is precious! Here we are sharing Special K. It is our morning ritual. I love it and so does she.

Today we are headed to Cincinnati with my mom. We are staying the night and going to King's Island tomorrow. They have an area just for little kids with Spongebob, Dora, etc. We are also going to do the character breakfast. The girls are so excited to go- they've been counting down the days. You should see what I am taking. I have to be prepared for all kinds of things, so I have a lot. While cleaning out a bag I often use for the girls I found this. Would you like to make a guess at what it is? I will give you a hint. It is food of some sort. All I have to say is- thank goodness that ziplock bag worked- they often don't! I will post pics when we get back!

Yesterday Travis pointed out that my blog title sounds like a naughty blog. So he has been helping me come up with other blogs titles. I am not sure they are any better.

Kate's Private Place- it is a place I can keep all my quiet thoughts
Kate's Pleasure Land- a place where I can talk about how much joy my kids bring me
Kate's Knockers- a place where I can talk about all the hard things that happen during the day
And there have been others...

Any other ideas that I could really use?

New Blog

Well, I have decided to start a new blog b/c most of the blogs I read are blogger and I want to be able to access them all from one place. I can't think of a good name, so I am open for suggestions!
