First trip of the Summer.
Caylee and I loaded the bus at 3:40 am with 30 other dancers and about a dozen adults to head out for Branson.
We had a very tight but full schedule. Our first day in Branson we spent at Silver Dollar amusement park.
Our dinner was not ready after our day at the park. Karla had to scramble with plan b. I guess there was a mix up and Dutton's thought our dinner was for Wednesday not Tuesday. So Ivan Call and Bob Lewis headed to Taco Bell on the bus to buy ten packets of ten tacos/burritos.
After the show some of the Duttons came over to Abby's Tourist Trap to visit with us. This is one of the Dutton men who played and alter ego name Julio. I thought he was hilarious and laughed and laughed. Caylee said the people around me we laughing at how hard I was laughing. He was my favorite entertainer of the trip.
Julio brought her 14 year old son over as well who was in the show. The girls loved this!!
Wednesday morning we walked up the street to Ripley's Believe It or Not.
This transformer was made from car parts.
A personal "shocking kit" to clear up what ever ails you. We saw a lot of interesting things like a real shrunken head, a authentic vampire killing kit, tramp art and miniature art. I mean miniature. You had to look at the art on a grain of sand, a tip of the toothpick etc through a magnifying glass.
Getting ready for the show.
Touchig up the lip stick.
Back stage hand clapping game. Caylee was good at it.
I checked google maps every so often on the way out and the way home to see where we were. When we stopped in Colby Kansas at an Arby's one of the girls said "What state are we in?"
Karla is closing down her studio so this was the last hurrah. There were a lot of tears after the last performance. Caylee and I loved this time together and she loved clogging and the team camaraderie
