I am Officially an RT (R)!

It finally happened! I graduated with my Associates Degree in radiologic technology from Central Arizona College. I have been counting down the never-ending days for this to finally happen. And now that it has, I'm actually kind of sad. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? I mean don't get me wrong, I am stoked. But, looking back on the last 2 years, the people that I got to work with, the friendships I have made and all of the struggles and complaints thinking it would never come to an end, well all that reminiscing just makes me a little sad that it's all over. I hope that all my classmates know how much I love them and how much I am going to miss our CAC family of 19. We are like the Duggars! Frank is Jim-Bob and Ali is Michelle! Haha! I wish all of my fellow graduates the best of luck! Cheers to the class of 2011!!

I have one more tid bit for you all. Next weekend my sister and I will be separating. She has found someone else to co-habitate with. It is a hard time for both of us so we would appreciate some privacy during this very difficult time. We have begun to separate the assets and it has not been easy. So far she gets the grey straightener and I get the pink one. She is leaving me with the tweezers and I told her she could have the good hairspray. We are drawing up contracts for the rest of our estates. It is particularly hard for us to fairly divide such high dollar items. We both have relatively high net worths...well only if the amount of beauty products between the two of us reflects our net worth ;) HAHAHA! Ok but in all seriousness, my beloved sister is moving :( I am so happy for her and this next chapter, but sad that I am losing my roommate and best friend. I have the BEST sister on this earth. She always washes the towels. She keeps the shower stocked with the most delightfully scented goods at all times. She cleans my room when it starts to look like Kendra Wilkinson's house. She always makes sure I don't over sleep. She always asks me if I want any breakfast. She buys me chapstick for my chapped winter lips. She lets me wear her clothes, use her make up, nap in her bed and she EVEN forgives me when i forget to flush the toilet...i've gotten A LOT better. It hardly ever happens anymore I swear!!  Ughhh..I could go on and on. She is gorgeous and amazing and I will miss her like crazy! I love you sister!!!

Sunday Funday

Today was the most perfect Sunday. We went to church this morning and they were talking about discipleship and how Baptism is a big part of that. The pastor then said that anybody that wanted to come up and be baptized was welcome. They had T-shirts and shorts to change into and towels for everyone that was interested. So Riley and I were sitting there while everyone was getting communion and he said "You know, I've never been baptized." I said "You haven't?" We attend church regularly and I never knew he hadn't been officially babtized. So next thing I know he gets up and says "I'm going, hold my stuff," and he took off. I just thought that was so cool. That's why I love him so much :) So Riley is now official and we are happy, christian campers.
After church we wanted to go look at Cruiser bikes. You are probably thinking this is random so lets back track a little bit. So we have our engagement pictures coming up in a couple months and our Photographer suggested that we think of a few props to use for the pictures. We always borrow his parents cruiser bikes and go on rides so we were thinking about using those in our pictures. Last night Riley and I went to dinner with his parents and they were asking about wedding stuff and we started talking about the engagement pictures and using the cruiser bikes. Riley's dad then started talking about how he and Kelly, Riley's mom, love their cruiser bikes and that they don't want us to use their bikes in our pictures. Riley and I looked at each other kinda confused and it got awkward for a second. But then, Kelly and Randy said that they wanted us to have our own cruiser bikes and that they wanted to do that for us as an early wedding present. How thoughtful is that?! I thought that was so cute and creative. We have wanted bikes for so long so we were really excited. So anyways after church we went to this bike shop in Gilbert and tested out a few bikes. I fell in love with the first one I rode, typical me. It's pink. I was sold. I of course accessorized it with a white basket, pink and black basket liner and a bell so that I can be obnoxious :)

My Bell :)

So don't be surprised if you see an obnoxious blonde girl on a pink bike, ringing her bell, trailing behind an extremely handsome dude on a silver bike :) It's just us.

There is just so much going on in my life these days and apparently some of my close friends and family wanna know about it. So here is a blog everybody :)
The best and biggest news I have to share is of course the fact that I am engaged :) On May 20, 2011 my boo got down on a knee. You should see the ring! Let's just say that Tom Shane and his Shane Co. knows what's up!

I think that's it for the big stuff.

Ok now for the second biggest set of news....I GRADUATE IN 71 DAYS!! I take my boards on December 9 and then i have graduation on December 10. Let's just say that I will be somewhat of a nervous wreck for the next 2 months. And then i will be on the hunt for a job. That will be a tough one with this economy but i am hopeful and positive. Riley and I may be a couple of newly weds living in a cardboard box for the first few months if I am unemployed...but idk maybe it will be romantic <3<3

Tomorrow Riley has an Interview with A.T. Still University and we are both so excited! For those of you that don't know, Riley is interviewing at several different PA (Physician Assistant) schools. A.T. Still is super close, right off of Baseline and Higley, so we are hoping and praying that he gets accepted there!!! So maybe you can hope and pray with us :) He has already been accepted to University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana which is AWESOME! However, it would be much much better for us and for our families if we can just stay here and be close to everyone. I think I would die without Krista and my sister so hopefully A.T. Still loves Riley as much as i do.

I really hope i can figure out how to post pictures on this thing. Who wants to read a blog without pictures?? NO ONE! I'll work on it.
    Kthanksbye
