Lake Powell!!
We went to Lake Powell at the beginning of August and it was tons of fun! Here are pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Travis likes to catch lizards!
This 'game' is called "Pirates of Homer's Pants" and the boys all wrestle and try to get each other knocked off the tube.
It's quite hilarious to watch.
Trav is pretty good at wakeboarding!
Look closely at the picture below. We pulled Travis back to the houseboats and he totally sprayed his uncle with water! Too good.
The aunts like to take naps at the same time.
...So do their daughters. :)
We went to the sand dunes this year and the water was high enough to run and then jump into the water.
This is my sister in law doing a cartwheel down into the lake.
Travis put me on the kneeboard and I slid down the sand and then into the water!
The water felt so nice, the sand was blistering hot!
I love the evenings at lake powell!
Everyone played baseball in the water, it was fun!
And... a pregnant belly shot. I was HUGE at lake powell. It was so hot and I was swollen everywhere. My feet were so swollen that I could touch the tops of them and they would leave an indent! The cankles and swollen feet went away when we came back. I tried my best to stay hydrated but it was just so hot that there wasn't much I could do!
This is called the Air Chair. Travis is pretty good at it, although it's quite a wild ride at times!
On the way back from LP, one of the trailer tires almost blew out. Luckily we have handymen to fix it!
All in all it was a great trip. It was fantastic to relax and play in the water and feel weightless. I really did float and I bobbed like a buoy! Travis and I enjoyed our time together. It is probably the last vacation we will have as a couple without kids!
