A Summer Night
Enter South Jordan Country Days. A beautiful night and family made it all so fun!!
A patient Maycee and cheesy Layla wating for the train...
The animal train...such a thrill
Not sure why Jack is SO happy to be there...
Our crazy mad scientist kids
This was for sure the highlight of the night...I think if she could...she would own a horse.
Pretty sure this was the highlight of the night for Layla...she likes food! Even better when she gets to do it by herself. Poor Tami got in a fight with the ketchup and mustard...there goes the white pants!
The two country princesses watching the kids come down the REALLY big slide.
Halle and Jack were happy to try and LOVED the slide...I think Kristin did too (check out the look on her face). Maycee however, wanted nothing to do with the slide.
She would rather stick to the good 'ol carousel.
This is what Maycee looks like when you take her (against her will) on the big slide. When we got to the bottom she stood up and turned to me and screamed "I DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT!!"
The perfect ending to a perfect summer night...sparklers. This was Layla's first encounter with them and she was mesmorized.
Maycee loved every minute and learned how to draw with them
So ready to start walking...it will happen any day now!
Lots of loves to end the night!!

Down on the Farm
All the kids got brave and climbed in the little clubhouse...they thought they were so funny to see us through the window up so high.

A Boat & A Mermaid
The first night we hit up the fun splash park downtown. The girls were itching to put on their swimsuits and play in the water...
She must have been feeling awful brave that day...she never gets this crazy in the fountains. So proud of her!!Later on that night we met up with the Andersons and the Eves. We ditched all the kids and went to an adult only movie and a LATE dinner.
Maycee would have played like this all day long...I had to practically force her to get in the water! (notice the hoarding of ALL the sand pails-she's a little possesive)
Layla was very concentrated on scooping the sand with the shovel. She was a little confused and tried using her hand to scoop up the sand and put it in the shovel. Finally she decided it was more fun to watch it run through her fingers.
KC...showing us his skills on the wakeboard
Skiing!! I was in heaven, even with the not so great water. LOVED it!After our fun in the sun day we prettied up had some dinner and took the older kids to see Little Mermaid at Tuachan. Daylemarie was SO sweet and made all the girls some cute mermaid outfits...complete with a red wig!

Sunshine State
Sidenote: Her suit looks a little large because when KC got them dressed after their naps he put Maycee's top on Layla and vice versa! I wondered why Maycee kept pulling at her top...ha ha ha!
