Once upon a time, I had another blog – A Planting of the Lord.
But that blog, quite honestly, got a bit out of control in my heart and in my life. Somewhere along the line, I lost sight of what my blog’s theme verse said I am meant to be – an oak of righteousness planted for the display of HIS glory. {Isaiah 61:1-3}
So this blog is my redo.
It isn’t my attempt to be a great big somebody. It isn’t me trying to make a name for myself.
This blog is simply me sharing what I am learning on my journey with the Lord, hoping you find light and life for your own.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I am so glad you are here.
Blessings,
Kimberly

Overjoyed to see you again, Kimberly! Have been praying for you and, if this is where you are to be at this time, may God bless you deeply with His abiding guidance and care. (Didn’t know you were here til I saw you on A Holy Experience.) Love in Christ, Lisa
Thank you so much, Lisa! What a true blessing to have you praying for me!!! I appreciate you taking the time to encourage me today! Thank you for leaving me a note. 🙂 Blessings, Kimberly
After the comment on FB I was trying to figure out who the blogger was on A Planting of the Lord as it sounded so familiar as was your photo. Is that blog still up?
So glad you are still writing and I rediscovered you on Joy’s timeline.
It isn’t up anymore. I copied all of my many, many posts from that blog and tucked them into a folder on my computer. I pulled a few over here to this blog eventually. But not many. So good to “see” you again after all these years!!
I am so happy to find you. I recently saw a beauriful FB post “I would have pulled Joseph out. Out of the pit…” and it indicated that you were the author (not sure what year), as part of Proverbs 31 Ministries. I wanted to share it bit I do not like to copy/past. I prefer to go to the author’s source and share from that point so they get full credit. With that said, I have searched Proverbs 31 Ministries but did not find it. I would love to be able to share that wondefully written truth, with the proper credit.
Can you please provide a source that would give you the proper credit for the article so that I may share it. Thank you so much. God bless you!
Oops! I replied to you with the wrong link and had to delete it. Thank you for stopping by, Frances! I’m so thankful this piece blessed you and that you would want to share it. I keep it on my blog here: https://kdhenderson.wordpress.com/2020/09/23/when-you-feel-painfully-and-hopelessly-stuck-in-a-season-you-dont-want-to-be-in/ Blessings!!
I love your words and the feeling I experience, knowing they are words God has given you to share in your ministry. May God bless you in all you do.. Love you
Thank you, Jan!! Love you! ❤️
Hi! I too found your sweet writing “pulled Joseph”. I’m planning to share it at Bible study this morning and I will give you credit for sure! I’m using it as part of my study on “making a dent in heaven”; living a life that maybe we didn’t plan but God did! Thanks for your encouraging words❤️
So grateful that you found these words, and that you are sharing them! Thank you so much for stopping in to let me know they blessed you ❤️ Blessings, Kimberly
