It's the last day of 2008. What will you be doing?
I've decided to post 1 last time before 2008 comes to a close.
So, next year, I hope to start it on a positive note.
As the holidays come to an end, the blackest Sunday of the year approaches, the Sunday before school reopens. But, luckily I believe that we will adapt and change oour modes from Holiday to School:D
Btw, next year is my last year in school. I'm so happy and so sad. I can't believe all the years passed by so quickly. It was like almost yesterday (no lah, jk jk) I was at my first day at school. Pn Sharifahwati our class teacher..see I remember!! Haha..all the years have passed by so fast..Especially the Secondary ones..wow...in a blink of an eye I'm in Form 5. SPM year!
Let's leave that for another day.
But for today, enjoy your last few hours of 2008.
Happy 2009!!

SNOWWW
I installed this Yahoo! Widgets recently, you should all check it out.
There's this widget, Yahoo Weather which I really love, I don't know why. I mainly like looking at foreign weather. Malaysian weather is sooo boring, all the time scattered thunderstorms, bla bla bla. So I look at foreign weather. Did you know, in Iqaluit, Canada, the maximum temp, I've ever seen is -32 degrees Celcius. Yeah, I know.. SO COOL :D..
And it's snowing everywhere, New York, Detroit, Moscow. Wow, people say winter is depressing, I say I WANNA SEE SOME SNOW. I really do want to see snow, not fake one in Genting. But real snow falling from the sky. They say, after a while, it's boring, you don't want it, you'll hate it. But let me see it first laaa, then only hate it :)
So, I hope someday, I will get to experience winter...*sigh
Last year I said " I don't care if I die as long as I can read Deathly Hallows first!" now I'm saying " I don't care if I die, I wanna see some snow falling from the sky first!"
So, to any rich people out there, wasting money on cars and shoes, please sponsor me to go to New York. I want to celebrate New Years at Times Square, with snow falling everywhere...wowwww..wonderful bliss..
Maybe after that, I'll say I never wanna see snow again. But now, just take me..I don't care what you think, I wanna see it to believe it...
P/s New York is always negative temperatures right now, with light snow fall.
P/ss Ulan Bator in Mongolia is -35 degrees celcius. It's not snowing, but man is it cold!
P/sss Kuala Lumpur is soooo boring, I wanna go for a holiday to New York. ( Maybe then, I'll apreciate Malaysian weather ;) )
J.K. Rowling Rules the Roost
Ola conquistadores (:
For reference please turn to page 20 of StarMag on Sunday, 21st December 2008.
This article finally gave me a cure for writer's block, which is extremely cruelllll....I guess everything goes on alternately like in November it was MegaBlog-buster but writer's block struck in December.
So as you all know The Tales of Beedle the Bard was released on December 4th worldwide. And me, trusting Wikipedia too much again, thought that it wouldn't be released here in Malaysia. But then, after chatting with Aisy(thanken yousa) she said she wanted to read it badly, and so I checked out MPH and Popular and Borders. Finally, they called back and said it was available. And I was feeling so stupid to wait for 2 days before getting it :( Anyway, I rushed to Popular and got it for a discounted RM34! See Aisy, just 3 hours after chatting with you...
Beedle the Bard was okay,I guess. Definitely not up to HP standards, but what can you expect. It was a good read especially the parts of Dumbledore's footnotes..so perasannn..
I could've finished it in 1 hour, but instead I took my time stalling here and there. So after 3 days I finally finished it.
This brings me back to the article in The Star. It was written by a Potterhead ( that's what she called herself) and some of the things struck me about it. JKR is so influential that she managed to auction a book for RM10.5 million!!!!! I mean, who else would write something so highly demanded? And thankfully, JKR had sense to release it to the public.
Let me quote from the article ;
" Truth be told, I am in awe of Rowling's sense of timing and marketing-savvy; After all the new teen obsession with Stephanie Meyer's Twilight " :O
" When TTBB was released on Dec 4 this year, it immediately booted Meyer's Breaking Dawn of the No. 1 spot. ( Sold more than 2.6 million copies in 2 weeks)"
I know, IN YOUR face...muhahahaha...
No, wait there's more. TTBB is the fastest selling book in 2008! And Deathly Hallows IS THE FASTEST SELLING BOOK OF ALL TIME!!!" Beat the Meyer freaks..

Me, Myself and a Whole Lot of Other Things
* Trumpet blows in the distance..
I'm back! After 2 weeks, I know some of you guys were wondering if I was still alive or what? lol
Where exactly have I been..? Lol... sooo many places..
Beginning 1st December, I started swimming lessons in PADE, near Tesco somewhere...
Swimming is soomething I have always wanted to do. But alas, since young, I was deprived of the chance to learn how to swim. Back in the days, when I was 6 or 7, I was too short and small to learn in the big pool in KRTU, so my brother learned while I..umm actually I forgot what I did then..haha
So, here was my big chance to learn. I joined in with Ker and Sayana (unexpectedly) in level 2 ( Seahorse :} ) So day after day, intensive training left me exhausted... Too tired to post any blogs, for a certain period of time I didn't even go online :O But later on, I got used to the fatigue, but I had many places to go as my grandma's sister came down from India, and we took her to many many places in KL and SA in PJ and etc etc... Pics down there somewhere...
Back to topic, so after 7 lessons, I found that I could, little bit swim freestyle la.. But on last Friday I flunked the test, accompanied by Ker and Sayana. :D That left me devastated for a moment.. I thought I did okay..but no..Marilyn Monroe thought else. So today I retook the test and thank you, Azam, he passed me. And now I'm in level 3! I'm an Octopus..hahaha..So hopefully, I'll be able to learn backstroke and learn it well this time.. Thank you, bubbye..
P/s Too lazy to post pics, just read it la, it's not like ya'll are from pre-school right? ;)

Je ne vois pas d'options
Okay, the reason for the title is simply " I see no options" . But if I were to put that here right now, it would be lame. Turn it French and voilla, piece de resistance, it becomes a whole lot more impressive (:
So, yesterday I went to register myself at the Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan (PADE) for swimming classes. Yaloh, I can't swim :( So I'm starting next week, hopefully in 2 weeks or in a month I'll be able to swim like Michael Phelps' butterfly. Wooooohooo...
Then I went to Ikea, Nashna's favourite place. Okay, after going there once or twice, it was quite interesting to see how they maximised space and all, but after soo many times, not so nice la... Fortunately, there was food there. The Swedish meatballs were tasty, with the cranberry sauce and all, but there was this strange spice that wasn't all that good. But what's more, the food there is CHEAP, okay ..not soooo cheap, just cheap cheap, cheaper than McD.The Swedish meatballs (10pcs) costed RM10. Okay right?
After going there, finally I got to go to THE place in the Curve, BORDERS... Woohoo..I love Borders in just anywhere, Times Square, Curve and Gardens. So I went to the upstairs section. And boy-oh-boy, Brisingr was RM80, paperback! So I immediately cancelled plans to buy it, not that it was a GREAT story anyway. I roamed around and wow, too many books in bright pink that scared me... (: So after hunting around ( their Diana Wynne Jones collection wasn't great) I finally settled on Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman. Yessss.. I know the movie was like the worst ever, but the books usually turn out better. I hope so.
So after spending RM60 for two books ( I bought sequel too), I was going to go back. Then suddenly, my dad called me " Look, it's our Datuk!". I was like who? Grandfather? lol. Then I saw Nicol David, ooops sorry DATUK Nicol David ( not her grandpa la :D). She was with her, mother I think and thankfully other people were too kind or busy to gather around her. I think they just need some peace, be like normal people, can go shopping and all. But save that for another day, for now, ciao, au revoir...

To All Impatient People Out There :D

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.
Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.
One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.
One of them Missed his bus.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.
One's Car wouldn't start.
One went back to Answer the telephone.
One had a Child that dawdled
And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.
One couldn't
Get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.
Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
my guardian angel wants me to be
At this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be Going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that
Someone is watching over you.

Happy Tree Friends
Watcher beware, you're in for a scare.
Don't be foolled by these cute, cuddly creatures..Happy Tree Friends is one the THE most violent, gruesome cartoons I have ever seen. Thank Yahoo Messenger for introducing me to HTF.
HTF can mainly be found in Youtube in Mondo Media's account
So, I as seen in the HTF official site, HTF is strongly not recommended for small children and big babies. :)
So please do watch this short clip, Daia.I swear its better than Fred ( ish that annoying person). But warning, don't faint, squirm or cry. It contains cartoon violence. But if you like it, join the club! Or else..don't faint.
To illustrate the kind of things in HTF, above is a poster from Google.

Me? A Photographer??
No, impossible is nothing, according to Adidas. But me, a photographer? No, nothing is impossible my fair people.
But when Nashna brought her Nikon D40 camera, I knew I had something big! Haha..
Nikon D40 is a good camera, but in the professional sector, it's one of the lower end products. But who cares? Heck, when the pictures you can take with it are amazingly High Definition (HD), no one will want to use a Sony CyberShot again. But alas, all good things are non-existent in the world or so they say. But the Nikon D40 does not have video recording, in other words, it's not a digital camera, ok?
Enough with the techie stuff, so back to business. So armed with a D40 and a busy Nashna who was constantly messaging CHU.., I went to take pictures in my garden. Little did I realise that there were so many photo oppurtunities. Woohoo! (p/s it was me who took all the nicer shots, Nashna just copied the same flowers..my goodness..no originality)
Alas, the saying a picture paints a thousand words is true for this scenario. What words? Don't ask me. Art is subjective, it is up to the individual. But don't get me wrong, I seriously I took these photographs. If you don't believe me, then come over to my house and I'll give you a tour of the flowers that I captured.
Harry Potter Isn't Gone, you know
Hey people, Harry Potter's legacy still lives on you know. Deathly Hallows is still the fastest selling book in all time..ALL TIME, EVER!!! Beat that, crazy Twilight fans. F.Y.I, Twilight has no potential for that, so there..yuck. All those who think Twilight is better than HP, dream on.
So here, J.K Rowling recently penned an 800 word prequel, which was set approximately 3 years before Harry was born. She auctioned it off for charity. A win-win situation, give it to charity and more HP Canon for us. :D So, kind people put it on MuggleNet, not really my favourite HP fan site, (i prefer tlc) but who cares.. So here it is..(drum roll, please) I haven't read it myself, so yahoo! Make sure you cherish it..But I promise this isn't the last you'll see of J.K.R . Warning~ I own nothing of these stories..Everything belongs to JK Rowling and I do not profit a single dime from this.
The speeding motorcycle took the sharp corner so fast in the darkness that both policemen in the pursuing car shouted,"Whoa!" Sergeant Fisher slammed his large foot on the brake, thinking that the boy who was riding pillion was sure to be flung under his wheels; however, the motorbike made the turn without unseating either of its riders, and with a wink of its red tail lights, vanished up the narrow side street. "We've got 'em now!" cried PC Anderson excitedly. "That's a dead end!" Leaning hard on the steering wheel and crashing his gears, Fisher scraped half the paint off the flank of the car as he forced it up the alleyway in pursuit. There in the headlights sat their quarry, stationary at last after a quarter of an hour's chase. The two riders were trapped between a towering brickwall and the police car, which was now crawling towards them like some growling luminous-eyes predator. There was so little space between the car doors and the walls of the alley that Fisher and Anderson had difficulty extricating themselves from the vehicle. It injured their dignity to have to inch, crab-like, towards the miscreants. Fisher dragged his generous belly along the wall, tearing buttons off his shirt as he went, and finally snapping off the wing mirror with his backside. "Get off the bike!" he bellowed at the smirking youths, who sat basking in the flashing blue light as though enjoying it. They did as they were told, finally pulling free from the broken wing mirror, Fisher glared at them. They seemed to be in their late teens. The one who had been driving had long black hair, his insolent good looks reminded Fisher unpleasantly of his daughter's guitar-playing, layabout boyfriend. The second boy also had black hair, though his was short and stuck up in all directions; he wore glasses and a broad grin. Both were dressed in t-shirts emblazoned with a large golden bird; the emblem, no doubt, of some deafening, timeless rock band. "No helmet!" Fisher yelled, pointing from one uncovered head to the other. "Exceeding the speed limit by-by a considerable amount!" (In fact, the speed registered had been greater than Fisher was prepared to accept that any motorcycle could travel.) "Failure to stop for the police!" "We'd have loved to stop for a chat," said the boy in glasses,"only we were trying--" "Don't get smart-you two are in a heap of trouble!" snarled Anderson. "Names!" "Names?" repeated the long-haired driver."Er-Well, let's see. There's Wilberforce...Bathsheba...Elvendork..." "And what's nice about that one is, you can use it for a boy OR a girl," said the boy in glasses. "Oh, our names, did you mean?" asked the first, as Anderson spluttered with rage."You should've said! This here is James Potter, and I'm Sirius Black!" "Things'll be seriously black for you in a minute, you cheeky little-" But neither James nor Sirius was paying attention. They were suddenly as alert as gundogs, staring past Fisher and Anderson, over the roof of the police car, at the dark mouth of the alley. Then, with identical, fluid movements, they reached into their back pockets. For the space of a heartbeat both policemen imagined guns gleaming at them, but a second later they saw that the motorcyclists had drawn nothing more than- "Drumsticks?" jeered Anderson. "Right pair of jokers, aren't you? Right, we're arresting you on a charge of--" But Anderson never got to name the charge. James and Sirius had shouted something incomprehensible, and the beams from the headlights had moved. The policemen wheeled around, then staggered backwards. Three men were flying-actually flying- up the alley on broomsticks-and at the same moment, the police car was rearing up on its back wheels. Fisher's knee bucked; as he sat down hard; Anderson tripped over Fisher's legs and fell on top of him, as flump-bang-crunch- they heard the mean on brooms slam into the suspended car and fall, apparently insensible, to the ground, while broken bits of broomstick clattered down around them. The motorbike had roared into life again. His mouth hanging open, Fisher mustered the strength to look back at the two teenagers. "Thanks very much!" called Sirius over the throb of the engine."We owe you one!" "Yeah, nice meeting you!" said James. "And don't forget: Elvendork! It's unisex!" There was an earth-shaking crash, and Fisher and Anderson threw their arms around each other in fright; their car had just fallen back to the ground. Now it was the motorcycle's turn to rear. Before the policemen's disbelieving eyes, it took off into thin air: James and Sirius zoomed away into the night sky, their tail light twinkling behind them like a vanishing ruby.

Stand Up To Cancer
Stand up to cancer or SU2C is a program or an initiative to raise funds for our noble scientists who continue to find a cure for cancer.
SU2C is actually a great way..And according to Nashna, many famous people sang a song together to raise funds for this initiative.
Amazingly, Nashna can tell which singer is which, I think all sound the same, except the Hannah Montana who sounds like small girl. :).
But more importantly, support this cause. I also don't know how to support, but just read the site which is http://www.standup2cancer.org/ and DO something la..
The video
Go buy some stuff and donate. All for a good cause.
Asian University Games 2008
Hi yall..today was a very important day, but not for me..haha
It was the torch run for the Asian Uni Games (AUG) 2008. Frankly, I'd be more interested if it was Olympic torch run, but why would they call us there? Instead, the organisers invited us there, I think to make the crowd, or else who would wanna go right?
So.. we went and reached Putrajaya at 3, after waiting n eternity for the "chong"ish bus driver.
Then, we went to a crowded place, the Ministry of Education building. There was probably Datuk Khalid Nordin..the minister of Higher Education I think and perhaps everyone wanted to see him..Well we were busy trying to get free Vico ( even though it was cold, it made us thirstier). Then all of a sudden, people were running somewhere, here and there and on bikes too..And a huge man,( maybe not so huge) shouted " Larilah! Apa tunggu-tunggu??" We were like " WHAT? I thought we just had to watch?!!"
SO we ran, no we walked..Making way for press and media and ambulances..Then after 3 mins, someone said, " Oi! Baliklah!!" Ooh..so fast?? I wasn't complaining. It was already scorching in Putrajaya, which according to Ker is the hottest place in Malaysia.. So we went back to that place. Then we sat down. And took some food, which in this case, curry puffs and water. But nooo..the curry puffs were sweet? How can curry be sweet???!
Then later I took some oranges which should be sweet. And then some woman came and asked us to take MORE FOOD..nasi something with some miserable chicken. I didn't want to take it..i was vegan for the day ;)
Then, 4pm..we had to go back..But noooo, lost sheep all over the place..Who cares where they were..I wanted to go back. So we went to the Ministry of Education and took photos..Camwhoring..woohooo! But it was air-conditioned..so better la..
Then finally we boarded the bus back home..where the Indian gang was making soo much noise.. haiyooo..
All in all, ok day la..Technically a waste of time..But some peeps from SMK TTDIJ did run the whole way..Bravo! But the main thing, I got a t-shirt and certificate is pending. But 20 marks for KOKO>>YAY!
chaos at the back of the bus
i'm paparazzi-ing on irsyad :D

The Snowball Effect
Why is this an official experiment? I don't really know if its official by Facebook but who cares..it's still a lot of fun.
This according to Rob Braddock, is one of the most ambitious experiments in Facebook history.
The aim is simple, get as many members as possible by inviting all of your friends...That means..each member, lets say there are 10 members, each has 100 friends. So if they invite their friends, surely it'll expand right?
Yup, currently there are 1963122 members of this group.
Maybe, now you're thinking " Well so what? Big deal..." Yalo..it is a big deal.
It's because the discussions are the best! You should really check it out. The people in this group are amazingly creative as they create the most bizzare forum topics... So go, now and check out this group. p/s no time already..byeeee

I don't Know
I don't know what to blog about today..So just gonna type whatever that's coming out of my head.
Today, we had school, well technically.
But the school was deserted, almost like a ghost town. No form 3.no form 4.no form 5.
But at least, there were some 4 Amanahians in school. Thank you Irsyad for triggering the change in plans..or else we would have died of boredom today in school. Instead, we went at 9. No need to get up early ma.. Then went to school and no one was there, lol.
Anyways, we (me and Irsyad) began to look for the teachers, and nervously collect our results.
Then we found Ker and Sawi.. The great Ker, decided to stick to original plan, which I think was a regretted mistakenly made decision.. (no offense rite ;) ). So after collecting all the results, by all, I mean 3 only, we went back. And revenge was sweet. haha... Don't blame me, blame them for scolding us for coming in late to school dressed as civilians..
While we strolled out of the school gates, the rest were trapped in school. I admit it was a pity to see them stuck in school, they wouldn't agree..but haha..who cares..their choice right..
Keywords : We - Nicholas Keevan and Irsyad
Them- Ker, Sarwisan, 4e's.
Here's a joke for all of you :D
Since light travels faster than sound,
people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Get it?? No..well never mind..
'Your future depends on your dreams'
So go to sleep
yea..form 5's if your dream is to get straight a's go and sleep..tomorrow spm? its okay..your dreams ma.. ;)
And to top it all of, here some images I have of icebergs in Antartica..please note, I didn't put all those stripes there okay..
wow..almost like a lolipop
wow..imagine wave freezing right over
i wanna go there

4 Amanah 2008 ;)
As you all know, 2008 is over. School I mean. And I barely finished form 4 and already its gonna be form 5. This post will be about 4 Amanah. :)
4 Amanah is one of the classes where all the students are close to each other, mainly because there's so little of us. 25 in fact.
Our class teacher is Pn Haslina, our bio teacher and we all love her very much..
4 Amanah may be strange to outsiders, but to the 4 Amanahians themselves,it is the greatest class ever. There will be soo many things I'll miss from 4a.
Haha..do you all remember the time of the mosquitoes? And the rat in class..aww.. And the war with 2 Amanah, who are rascals, uncivilised snobs. :D
And not to mention Miss Ili, our controversial English teacher who we all ended up liking after all..;)
And don't forget those times when we were scolded, and almost all the teachers have now lost their tempers in our class..I think only Pn Rosida hasn't.
I'm gonna miss so much of 4a, so please to the school admin, don't be so heartless as to stream us..We are inseperable now.. Through thick and thin, we will always be together.
By the way, so sorry to have missed the "par-tay". I had Account 2 lo... It's okay..hopefully Amira, our dear treasurer can utilise the funds to buy an air-con next year. :)
Amira, you seriously organising a party? Have in in a hotel la, or swimming pool, or beach..Come on.. ;) I wanna take pics..in case evil admin decided to stream us next year..
So anyways, bye for now. Take care and hopefully we will still be in 5 a next year.

I'm Back,I'm Free.
Haha..Hi :D
After a long period of hibernation, my blog has returned. Everyone, please relink me.
So, after 3 weeks, my exams are finally over! Yahoo!! What seemed to be an eternity has finally passed. Now, feel the joy of freedom rushing through yourself. :D I can't stop smiling. \
So all in all, it was a ok, so-so exam I guess. Not many were too difficult and all were rarely easy.
Here are the tough papers :
Add Maths 2 ( the question wrong lah, teacher, please give us 10 bonus marks :D)
That's all tough la, maybe Accounts 2 was manageable in toughness.
The easy papers:
Maths 1
Ekonomi Asas 1
So, now I think I have 1 more week of school. I'm not sure, you're not sure too! hahaha..
So, for this restarting post, that's it. Happy hols to everyone!! But make sure you come on Monday, got Chem Paper 3 marks la. ;)
I'll be spending a lot of time doing this :
Kimi, my pet, who is rich and good-looking. ;)
