Thanksgiving Point!
For the 24th, my mom and I took the kids to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point! They had a great time. We were there for almost 5 hours and probably could have stayed longer! (It cost more than I thought so I felt like we had to get our money's worth) They really loved the sand table. We decided to go all out and go see the 3D movie on Dinosaurs. Luke was so excited for the movie, but as soon as the dinosaurs came on screen jumping out at us, he threw his glasses off and started bawling (yes, full out bawling). After about 5 minutes, he calmed down, but sat on my lap through the remainder of the movie and did not put on his glasses again. Savannah loved it, and kept telling Luke that he shouldn't be scared. What a tough girl. Even Katelyn was good for the movie. I thought the museum was great, so if you have not been, I would recommend it and if you have been, let me know what you thought!

Happy 1st Birthday Katelyn!
I can hardly believe Katelyn is a year old! It seems like the time goes more quickly with each child. I am not ready for her to be big! She didn't know what was going on for her birthday, but she had a great time anyway! She loved her wagon we got her, as did all the kids at the party! Kate has a purple care bear that she loves to sleep with, so I made her a purple bear cake. One day, she may appreciate the effort! She loved eating her cake and didn't waste time playing in it. She just dove right in and devoured it. Very predictable for Katelyn! She loves her desserts! Happy Birthday little Kate!
Happy Belated Birthday!!
Luke had a birthday party with his friends a couple of weeks after his birthday, and then it has been so crazy with painting the house that we have had to put a lot of things on hold, so I finally decided I better make some time to post the pictures. Better late than never!! The boys had so much fun in the water. The slip-n-slide was the favorite activity hands down. They all had a blast coming up with new ways to slide down. It was hilarious to watch! Anyway, here is the proof that they all had a great time!! Happy Birthday again buddy!!

Our van, the giant paperweight...
Somewhere between my driveway and the kitchen we lost an important item; the only key to our van. One may feel compelled to ask why we did not have a spare key and the answer would be that I'm not sure, we talked about it but never took the initiative to get a copy made. My husband and I looked everywhere including on the roof of the house, because wherever there are children no place can be ruled out. Few things are worse than having a million things to do but the van that used to take us places decided that it would rather be a giant paperweight and sit quietly in the driveway. I could almost see it smirking at me and hear it say, "No key huh, that's a shame." Fortunately we were able to get the issue resolved by having the dealership program some more keys for us at a cost I'd rather not disclose (a price my husband gladly paid to return stability to the household). If anyone happens to see my key chain let me know, there are a few other keys on there that I wouldn't mind having back!
