hectic day today......
suffered a bit of insomnia this morning.. couldn't get to sleep.. in the end i slept for like 4 hours+? Amazing that i'm still here.
Had lab again this morning. The report writing was damn hard. 3 hours to relax during gathering of info, 30 hours of report writing? Crap la. MSE rocks! its testing my patience now.
Lecture was laggi best. I was learning something i had no idea why i'm learning it. No rational at all. Shimon and eddi slept. i was in the middle and i tried my best. Lost at the last 7 slides cos my attention span was over.
After that was rally. Hmmm.. Had bit of jitteries cos i wasn't that prepared. Oh well. Had the gist out can le. Now for elections and internal elections.... OMG.... BZ week desu ne....
Best thing for today. I forgot i was having MNO tutorial. Until wenhao called me. Ran and took bus. Reached in quite a short time and den KL brought me to SR18. Chui lo. Ulu de.
After went to temasek, watched friends, played squash. Won my match but play limted and there're better players. So din get into the team. Oh well. Experience was great. Wished i had my racquet with me. I miss my racquet.
About done with CCA for engin camp. Elections.... hmmm... Jiayou everyone!

Footprints.... Left in school since sem 3 starts.
It has come to the end of the second week in school. Due to the fact that i had decided to run for elections in the 31st MC of the Engin Club, i've been getting home later than usual. Guess thats whats life gonna be once we step up? Oh well, i'm prepared for it anyway. 31st is gonna rock!
Studies is always impt to me. We had an easy day on monday when our lab TA did virtually everything for us in our Xray diffraction lab. He loaded in the samples and started the machines. Readings just came out on the computer and all we did is wait. 2-3 hrs.... The only thing we learnt? How to copy the readings and put them into excel format. We were so stunned when the TA asked us to go for coffee while waiting for the readings! Haaha.. Nv had such a slack lab.The report? We have 2 weeks to prepare it which we all decided to prepare next tues in the lab where 6 of us come together and brainstorm. YAY!!! Eddi and i are like in different groups but we're still together in the same labs. The MLE lecturers really really suck. Seem like i'll really need the textbooks and self studies.... Haiz... One mumbles in gibberish and one doesn't know how to explain concept. We the MSE cohort are always left in bewilderment and *head shakings*. On the other hand, the biz lecturers are damn good till the point that i'm always interested. No regrets taking the biz mods. Hopefully i'll get my DSC 2006 by sunday when appeals are processed.
We had nominations on tues and wed... Filled the form and nail ourselves into the engin club coffin officially. Though its commitment, my passion is flaming once again. Oh well... Haaha.. After that we had interviews for all nominees for confirmation for our status as election candidates. Well its not exactly one of the best thing that happen in the week, but who cares? 5 ppl in the interview room, and all from the P cell. I'm prepared for that already. Like what i always say, Come what may. I'll take it as they comes. After that we had dinner in mac! Till like 2300... Shagged... Luckily i had so much company on my way back home... Poor louelle and sebas.. Walk back hall... BUT THEY LIVE IN HALL!!!! ok... At least now i know i'll have jiahan and cheehong with me till the north. Great!
FIREWORKS CELEBRATIONS 2008!
Went with louelle to this event. Its a people mountain people sea event! Moved off from school after a get to know you session with wendy who's running for publications director held by Nat. The point is, it started to rain quite heavily. Haha.. Luckily i bring my umbrella ALL the time if i have my bag, so we hid under the small "fake burberry" umbrella <--- as deemed by her to the YIH busstop. 95 was a long journey.... The train was ok as it wasn't so packed cos we're going against the rushing crowd going towards boon lay.
After dinner in raffles city, we're on our way looking for the floating platform. Oh well, not much of a looking, we went there straight... Hhahaa... The carnival was hmmm.... Except for the Military band from a sec school.. I forgot... Hahah... Found our WET seats and wiped. Warmed it with our butts. The only thing that caught our attention was the military band performance. Boy they are good. The Band sergeant major had my attention all the time. His playing of the paystick was EXPECTED yet JAWDROPPING. Took pics under my umbrella cos its drizzling a bit... But it cleared in time! Yay! The fireworks was really great, the choreography and music.. Many of the fireworks which we had nv seen before, especially the comet types. Looks like comets bursting into pieces. Its almost on top of us too. Since we're are the first row. A little irritating was the fence in front of us. Bit hard to take pics. Otherwise, its really nice. The classical pieces were in synced with the fireworks display. French fireworks rocks! Now i feel that singapore does spamming of fireworks only.. Hahaha...
Too bad there's no korea part of the performance. I tot there was... Oh well, worth the 18 bucks! Sent her home and went home... We're were like packed sardines in a crushed tin can. Oh well.. Cup noodles at home!

Start of school....
This week was full of ups and downs, not much of downs though.
Firstly, i couldn't get my 6th module DSC2006. In the end, i got my MLE year 3 mod instead. Cock right? Yea. Eddi and me got it and we realised it was suicidal to take it. Its a year 3 module for goodness sake. So we dropped it. 1 point loss, big deal. Anyway, i'm really glad that i dropped it cause it was causing me a few sleepless nights. Stress ar..
After that was engin club running decision making. Got news that Jiahan was gonna run as HonGen also. Well, being the uncompetitive me, i relinquished my claim to that title quite quickly as i wont wanna be a A Hon also.. Haha.. Quite fast of me. Ok la ... I'll be working with her... Oh well. Hopefully i can do a good job up to their expectations.
Picked up a game minesweeper flags.. Haha... Used to avoid mines... Now step on them... Hahhaa.. 2 words... I'm lousy.....

Thank god for the guidance and grace given to me.
Screwed up quite a few times... The tins, the bidding of modules, the balloting, maybe even the streaming.
Oh well. Everything worked in favour, your plan.
Had this cell last sunday. The difference between God's plan and what he allows to happen.
Yes but they are diff issues. The qns to ask is,"Did god plan this to happen? Or did he allow it to happen?" Very intriguing...

Oweek.... RAG!
Ok i'm waiting the china olympics opening ceremony now. And using the safari i just downloaded when i updated my itunes. Woah... Amazing with all the dictionary for a web browser.
The 3D2N oweek just ended today. Sentosa, external hunt and then Rag today. I participated in the first game of sentosa which was the tortoise jump game. Crap. Got corn flour over my body la! Thanks to shimon. Kinloong and Wenhao came too but they went back home to get stuffs to stayover. Louelle came too to join the camwhoring which happened later. There's the fashion parade too. Ok.. It almost became a drag queen search. -.-" We managed to get lou to sleep over in LT7A with us. I learnt how to play bridge too!
External hunt took a toil on the unrested louelle. She's damn tired and still had to do bit of rag when she went back to hall for REST? We met george for dinner. Swimming cup from macs! We played bridge after dinner and went to louelle's room for our bags. Supper followed of cos. The tiring day ended in LT7A again for us with louelle buried inside her blanket in her bed. i guess?
Rag day... We had little space and everything's a bit messy. Got my Rag shirt too. The floats and dance were very nice la. KE7 should have won something cos they were really good. Engin's dance were really really nice. Too bad we were'nt in favour. KR and Biz koped almost all the prizes and shields. Oh well, dun care....

Oweek... Flag...
Oweek started again on monday. War games and den night walk... Nothing much. But bidded MNO1001 and DSC2006 again. Hopefully i can get the places.
Today was flag. Woke up 0415 to sign for the tins. Picked louelle up and gae her her shirt. Off to yishun we go.
I lost 5 extra tins. How's that for a start in the day of flagging, when i only started to get into my tempo. Left in the chartered bus i guess. Made a police report for it and had to come back school to sign a form. Oh well. My virgin police report. Hahaha.
Thanks to god i'm in yishun where its my turf. And i know where's the NPC. Somehow, a painless lesson taught by god to me. However, a bit sianz 1/2 but ok.
Ok... Michelle's dance tics are coming also... And i'm bit tired now.

Festival of Praise 2008
Ok... I seem to have forgotten who sang... Oh... Its the Parachute band and hillsongs united. And the speaker, mark conner? hahaha... ok i'm old... Damned. The atmosphere's good, the sermon was good and everything. Its my first time there.
Only thing is that they dun start with confession. Hmmm... Had my little confession time before i started singing the songs... The feelings all right after that. Heart prepared to praise god!

Start of Engin Oweek 2008.
House: Anubis
OG: Ashanti (A minotaur)
Day 0 was basically mascot and identity making. Reached schol at 1230 to meet wenhao for lunch. He din manage to wait for the ppl since everyone reached only at 3. I left for home to drive my family to grandma house. Catching up with the old folks and my uncles was not bad. After that i drove to school. So nice to be driving.
Day1 is today and i'm quite worn out. Firstly in the morning, greg and yiling were settling the admin stuff. So Eddi started icebreakers and i joined too. It was only a while before we started to teach cheers. Hahah. Good thing half of oyster is with us. Namely, chongren, royden, tengjin, cai kwan and chun kit. Leona, shu yi, sean and john were in another. Oh well, we're in the same house nevertheless. Almost lost my voice when i was teaching cheers. Den we had some practises and we went on cheering from then on.
Mass dance was the best for me. Cos the dance looks nice when its done properly and i tried my best to remember everything. Haha... Ok... I remember quite a lot le. I shall youtube it again later. Anyway, eddi danced as the girl... Haha..
After that was station games and it lasted till evening. Den talks and everything. Shag day indeed.....
Oh well... Hope monday's gonna be fun! We're staying over for flag anyway.
Oh yea... Church and FOP tml.... Hope they'll be great!
