290 SA Alpha Specs gathering... Not so much of a gathering though... =P

People present today were edwin(proboscis),junling(pussy xu),xuanming(farker chong aka LOST), Benny and me(xiao di)... Haha... Only the 5 of us for our dude outing. We had our Left 4 Dead outing finally in Bugis Junction and it was really great... I loved playing the infected. The thrill of killing the living!

The best player was xuanming i guess, then Benny followed by edwin cause i quited long long ago... Junling just picked up the game which i am quite sure that he is addicted to it already. David was supposed to join us but he din in the end... We had dinner in some 4-face buddha place where we had our noodles which din really satisfy us and that is when we decided to go for good dessert in selegie... Yup.. Its near the Rochor Tau Huay there but its the other way... P plaza.. Had my red bean ice.... haha

After that we went for an hour of pool which was quite lousy due to the quality of the EVERYTHING there.. The cue, the table, balls and everything was just bad.. Should see the look on edwin... Just ridiculously funny when he couldn't get the right balls in.... After that was another round of L4D before we depart home... Its been real long before we had this type of activity since ORD. Its a good day i suppose. =)

Morning was quite ok ba... Returned van for Roy... In AMK... I din get lost there! And i reached there safely... Not bad.... haha! =)

Post ICT thoughts....

Finally this page shows up properly on my screen again. And i can, once again put down my thoughts without having any difficulties of seeing what i'm trying to write.

This week is gone with much to learn, or rather relearn. As an Det 2IC, i had become the "advance party" for the rest of my ICT years cause i have to take over stores which is part and parcel of my job as a 2IC. Of course, it is really rather sian to go back earlier by one day as compared to the main body, but i guess we just have to suck it up like a man. Feels really like booking in on the first day of BMT on monday.. The amount of unwillingness in me to go back into wearing green camoflaged was as high as mountains. Just that, the only consolation i had from the fact of going back to ICT, was that i'm a reservist now. =) That means that everything is not as bad now. On top of that, i have my 3 strips on the start...

First day "bookin-ers" were all either commanders or 2ICs. Commanders were John, Benny, Yongteck and 2ICs me and Junling. To my surprise, i see BQ TAT! And that means that our food will always be on time on target! Storemen were Isah and Qin dian... It has really been a long time seens we seen each other. Its a minimum of a 2 years already. It really brings back lotsa memories when we were all in camp. Suddenly, the ICt doesn't seem as bad as it seems.

First day was packed with lotsa waiting in the morning and even in the early noon as the commanders were all at a lost of what to do as this was our first time. Things went on slowly... But this was really a problem as we had lots of time catching up and just relaxing. Guns were took over and Junling and i proceeded to take over gun stores... We are the first year specs, as called also the old specs... The new specs were much garang as they did had more drive than us... Maybe this is cause they were the ones who took over us and we just really adopted a slack attitude when they are around. We try to help a some ways though, but they are really hardworking. This incamp was a stay in... This is quite bad though as many expected a stay out. Oh well... I din really care after a while...

Seeing the rest of the specs in-pro really brightened me up as that meant i get to see my buddies like jiajun and xuanming, and of course edwin(proboscis). Everyone remained the same! In terms of personality and outlook, size and whatever.. I'm really stunned as a see men really changed shape and size and this applied to the new specs too. But the old specs? We really remained.... This was like back in 20SA. We really had much to talk about.

The outfield exercise was what i skipped... The most siong part of the in-camp course my stitches could not be taken out yet due to my wound opening again when 2 were taken out. A sense of relieve really when i know that i will not be going out on exercise but that would mean that i would not have the time to catch up with the specs in outfield too. Oh well.. Its like a tradeoff really and that i really din wanna be looked at as a slacker. Though i really wanted to slack and to be frank to all and those i told, being in bunk is really slack.

This in-camp brought me back to the fact that i had to train for my IPPT again. Getting silver was like eating rice when i was in the army. I seriously do not know about now as i see gold getters get only pass and people who had no problems for silver failing IPPT. Of course, for now i know that i will have no problem for all except the 2.4km and maybe the SBJ which really depends on my form. Bought 2 running shorts. Determined to run again when school reopens. Bernice i know you will run with me. =D

E-mart shopping is a must for all when we return for ICT. I bought lotsa things! I bought a commander bag which can really up the role of my biking bag and a new field pack. I got myself a new pair of shades which is roughly grey. I haven got any running shoes yet as i figured that i should just get them online and ask them to deliever to my house. This week was quite interesting with Junling and edwin around crapping.. Especially the Oprah Talkshow hosted by Junling and sat in by Edwin on my gf... Ya thats you bernice. =P

We had our fair share of bitching sessions too and these are really what we enjoyed in-camp when we had nothing to do in bunk or when we're out. *Eagle's in the nest* LOLz.....

Of course, the holidays are ending as my ICT ended yesterday and its back to float building again! But i'm taking a break today at home and den maybe meet ber for a while before she goes for cell. Though we think that ICT is really a waste of time, i guess i really enjoyed it due to the company and of cos, due to my injuries. Nevertheless, we'll be seeing each other latest next ICT again IN June....

Hope we can have an outing soon!

A week of accidents and blood..... -.-"

Quick update! Yes i have 3 stitches on my left feet which hurts a bit from time to time when i move and gave the flesh a tug. Oh well... What doesn't kill ya only makes you stronger right? Haha... Thanks to the L-bar. The plaster is still not off from monday when i had the cut and its starting to feel itchy on both the wound and the sticky part of the plaster. I guessed it means that i'm healing? Haa.. Come to think of it, the most dreaded ICT is round the corner and maybe this cut might get me out of action?! Hahha.. Might be a blessing in disguise... Oh well... And yes everyone, i'll be having ICT for the whole of next week. Total out of action and i CANNOT use my IPHONE for that week! Damn! Wonder if they give pay? hahaha

My dear bernice went for wisdom tooth extraction part 2 yesterday. 2 on the left this time... Was quite chui... I guess tooth extraction will always be so crude and painful no matter how times have changed. Wonder when will the time be when we can just use laser to zap teeth away without any pain. Maybe that'll be the time when i dread going to the dentist less. My 4 wisdom teeth are all out... Hope they don't give me any problems... Am a wimp when it comes to dentist. Oh ya... At the travelator.... Misfortune occured. Cos ber was facing me on it, and we were talking( not quite wat you are thinking wenhao), we din realise we reach and she tripped.. And i tripped. Guessed i kicked her toe nail or she tripped over it, think half her toenail came out... Yes yes yes there's bleeding, but minimal.. Cos it stopped as fast as it started. Phew... Same toe as the one i lost my toenail... Now we have deformed toenails! What a couple!

This has become a week of great rest for me as i spent my days from tues at home. Except yesterday when i accompany ber to ttsh for her extraction. Bit crazy though. Local anasthetics. Finally i do get my time to sit around and do nothing. But its quite bad though. I would rather go build at rag. Oh well... Hopefully swayness doesn't come more than once!

Hmmm... Come to think of it... People who uses windows and likes the mac "desktop" can try using objectdock. Pretty cool stuff and you can just customise your desktop to look like a Mac. Fluidity of the dock might be a concern at first but i tried and its totally fluid. Kudos to the creator. You are able to hide your taskbar too. Good shit!

Oh well... This is my dearest of course. Haha... Finally a decent photo... Ok maybe there are lots but this is the first which i see now. Yup... Dun doubt me... She's my gf.. How did i do it? Dunno either... What does she see in me? Er... I guess..... I dunno... Hahhaha... But yup... Its been since April! 3 months le... And she loves to take pictures a lot! We wanted to do a scrap book... But there's too much photos now! OMG OMG.

She just had her 21st though... These are my designs for her cards and her box... Hmmm... I hope its nice... It looks nice to me... There's other gifts inside... But these are my creation... So yup... Ideas for guys and girls! Hee...

Hmmm... I feel like i wanna go for ict... Haha... FOr the sake of catching up with my army buddies like xuanming, jiajun, edwin, junling bla bla bla... This is gonna be a fun time catching up... As its been 2 years since we met up. Haha... Missed the recent XLB outing... Paiseh.... Hahha...

Oh well!!! Off to do a project!

So many things to say... But by the time i got onto this page, i feel lazy... or rather lazy to type.

Today's my gf's birthday. Yay! Happy 21st Bernice.. =) Hope you enjoyed the day. Sure hope my efforts into the gift was paid off too.

Ice skating was at first fun... But later tiring and began to become painful on my side cos the blades were a size too small. I presume u have a wide feet and thus it felt like i was gonna have blisters on both my large toes. I fell once after i did some turnabout and "balleting" around when i lost my balance. So of course, i fell and silly bernice came into my way and i kicked her off her one of her feet. So we fell together. Lesson learnt, dun blade near noobies.

After that we had dinner with her family.. Brother's treat. Hmmm... Not exactly interesting. Wished i hadn't been there though. haha.. Would have felt better if i shared cos i felt like the only thing i did today is to skate and eat. But oh well... Genies can grant one wish right?

On the bus back... Saw this vietnamese looking maybe malay family with their cute baby girl whose 1 year old sitting in front of me... This family of indians on the other side had a cute boy.. Think he's about 3 to 4? And the boy was so curious about the girl... And so they made their first contact... A handshake catalysted by the parents... Seeing this... I wonder... I might only see this multiracial exchange in Singapore only... Or to this common extent... What a nice world we live in.. Isn't it?
