Flashback Update: Daddy Daughter Date

Darwin:  We've been trying to do a monthly Daddy-Daughter Date and Mommy-Daughter Dates with our girls, but it's been challenging to get out every month.  Ideally we take each girl out individually but sometimes we double them up.  When Tal gets older we'll do it with him too.  This time I took both girls sledding and mommy stayed home.  After a thorough bit of time sledding, we made our way over to the playground, then started rolling a snowball for a snowman which ended up being a snow-throne.

Flashback Update: Aussie Day 2017

Darwin:  It has been customary to celebrate Aussie Day with our McSweeney friends.  Straight up they are some of the most genuine folks on the planet and we have been absolutely blessed to have such a good friendship with all of them!  We especially love celebrating Aussie Day with them and get a little bit (or a lot) of the Australian culture.  Some day we'll take a trip there.  Unfortunately Mommy wasn't able to make it because Talmage was feeling sick.  Without our photographer there weren't very many pictures.

The Aussie tattoos on Dar's head were originally designed to be a mustache tattoo, but Dar turned them upright and used them as Aussie horns.

Flashback Update: Rori's Birthday Party 2017

Darwin:  Rori turned 6 in January of 2017.  We had a family party to celebrate, and the traditional cake and presents.  She wanted a pink themed birthday party, hence all the pink you see.  We also had a pinata for her this year as well.  There's not a lot of text for this post, just enjoy the festivities!

We played a game where each person had a sticky note on their forehead with an animal on it.  Then we acted out each other's animals and had to guess what it was.
