One Utama Outing for presents!

That day me and my friends Elyse, Enyi and Jane went to One Utama for shopping(and i'm the only guy there -.-")

Well, i went there because i need to buy presentS(is plural) for my Queen as her birthday closes...

hehe! & i hope that she will like the presents i give her...



We arrived there around 1pm i guess, and walk around One Utama like


a bunch of mindless flies


I heard from Nicholas that MiniToons sells the plush that vibrates. So i decided to buy it for Queen as Queen loves it.

And i wasn't dissapointed^^


These are just some of the things we bought that day...
I think i spent over RM150 that day alone...
Ops...

Just so you know, it written "Gee angels could fly so low" on the white shirt and "Men Tell more Lies, Women Tell Bigger Lies" on the other shirt... Hehehe!

Cute har? These 2 Hp pouch i bought it that day, the white one for Dear and the black one for me... Rm11.80 total...

But if is for my Dear Queen, then everything is worth it...

Later we went to WongKok to have our DINner + LUNch = LUNner/DINch
Well, the place looks good, feels good...
And the food I've ordered taste good! (2 thumbs up)
I've ordered "Gei Ji Dong guei Soup Rice" which translates to some chinese herbs soup Rice...
Taste awesome but my tongue numb all the way because...


IT IS OSAMALLY, SADDAM HUSSEINLLY, PARIS HILTONLLY HOT!!!


And since i don't have the habit to cool down the soup till it's eatable,
I have to risk my tongue to be numbable...

Haih...

So at the end of the day, we have a lot of fun as the day ended with smiles on our face, we had a wonderful time and hopefully we'll have a chance again in the future!

I did something really wonderful just now

I can't believe i did what i did just now.

For me... i won't be paying beggar a cent no matter how dismantle they are, or how pity they look like, cause i 100% think this is the job for the gov to make sure poverty are wipe clean.
And also we will never know if they are being control by some organization to beg for money.

But what i saw just now is by far the most beautiful and yet sorrowful thing i've saw in decades...



As i was walking down the line to Safemart to pick up some grocery for tmr's plan(which making my high school famous Sandwich to my queen^^)
From a distance, i saw them...


These beggars, okay, i shouldn't use this term -.-"
These 2 person, in their 70s, teasing each other intimately, obviously they are husband and wife, the guy used his fingers to touch his wife face naughtily while the wife reply back with "no, i dont want it" kidn of expression, so lovely they smile to each other, like the world only circling around them.
But when i realise they are actually in poverty(cause they are selling tissues and wearing dirty clothes), my heart feels like been pierced through by thousands of arrows.

Why/How can they still live happily when they are suffering financially like this?
I mean how can people as lovely as them been victim of poverty?
Aren't the government doing anything?
I thought they are suppose to take care of these people?

These question comes into my mind when i saw them, how painful my heart is when it happen... seeing them like this, i plan to buy tissues from them to motivate them and assists them so they will feel slightly better about themselves...
in the end...

i did none of the above...


BUT! I did do something which i think is much better, seeing them haven't have their dinner, i bought some really tasty/filling bread from Berry's for them.
The sight of them gratefully/happily receiving my bread was really a wonderful sight to behold...

I will never forget their expression... Never...

A little bit emo now, i better start doing my literature and Japanese exercises...

Dragon One ss2

nope, it is not a new online RPG game from Blizzard.
& no, it is not a new TVB drama.
Dragon One is infact, a restaurant.

I can't believe i didn't notice this restaurant for the past 8 months, don't know why, may be is because it is situated beside the all famous MURNI restaurant there.
So all the focus is on MURNI, not Dragon... Kesian -.-"

But anyway, that day rain heavily till my dear queen has to come early to have dinner with me.
At 1st, we plan to dine at MURNI(sry Dragon 1, i didn't know about you back then -.-)
But since it is crowded, we ended up eating at Dragon One, & we didn't regret ever since.



INTRO~
The restaurant was surrounded with waves of red ^^", bright and colorful at the same time, and since that's a rainy day, the moody feeling was CRUSHED by this theme of colors. Thank god.

Small problem happened though, there was this waiter, I'm not sure where he's from, because his accent sounds strange for a chinese even though he looks like it...

He actually looks like a vietnamese that is wrapped with an orange skin if you know what i mean ^^ But his eyes, looks different. & I'm more convinced he's not a Chinese after he did this to us...

He say yes, yes, yes in everything we've ordered, but then, he miss out 1 order from us. Darn! & i still thought they are sooooooooo considerate for not serving us the other noodles because we haven't finish the 1st food we've ordered...
haihhhhh...
Stupid waiter, a person that's deaf serves food better than him...

MY CRAB NOODLE RO, YummY!







The Noodle Crab RO(noodle) i've ordered tasted like heaven, the soup taste sooooo mild and smooth until it triggered my urge to devour it even more... I finished the whole bowl of noodles including the soup. It was really really REALLY

OUT OF THIS WORLD!


But the trademark of the restaurant is the Shanghai Dumpling they offered, got step-by-step on how to eat o!

but really, if you follow the steps, you will taste the dumpling as how it should be tasted...

It will be the best experience you'll get. Because that's what i had^^

All in all, we spent RM 29.90

Noodle Crab RO = Rm 8.80
Shanghai Dumpling = Rm 6.00
Sour Plum Lemon = Rm 4.80
Milk Tea = Rm 2.80
ZC Noodle = Rm 6.80


Atmosphere : 8.0 (normal, simple)
Service : 7.50 (The super waiter... Cannot tahan...)
Food : 9.0 (Close to getting 9.50)
Price : 8.5 ( i think is worth it... REALLY!!)

OVERALL : 82.5%

Bro called me somewhere in the afternoon and invited me to have birthday dinner with my uncle. I remembered last year i made a lot of mistakes and pissed my bro off and caused us to arrived late.

But this time, I made no mistake about it.

Bro came early and drove me all the way to OKR.
But damn, the Jam was CRAZY!!! Traffic jam stretches from ss2 to Old Klang Road...

Anyway, we reached on time, infact, we were earlier!
This is because we decided not to group at my uncle's place and go straight to the Japanese restaurant instead.
Yup! We ate JAP food today.

Unbelieveable, because last year we have dinner at a Chinese restaurant, thinking that they are those old people will make them choose to go to the same old spot.
But NO!!
They chose a Japanese restaurant...


NIHON KAI, literally means "Japanese Sea", semantically "Japanese Sea", situated somewhere near OUG along Old Klang Road.

Here we are, a place where 4 out of 4 of us have no idea of. Actually it was suppose to be 7, but 3 of them bowed out because of some silly reasons.
Nevermind, the dinner still goes on....

These are the food we've ordered~

It was the freshest, tastiest Japanese food I've ever tasted!
The Tiger Prawn I've ordered was so fresh, until i can taste the sweetness in it.
Darn! It is very sweet!! The cuddle fish also fresh as well, it was so good until my bro have to "steal" some away from me o.O

& All the sushi taste really good/fresh/nice/speechless

Just PERFECT!

Yeah!


Atmosphere: 9.0 (Really nice relaxing interior design)
Food : 9.5 (1 word to discribe, FRESH!)
Service : 8.5 (Not bad, not good either)
Price : 9.0 (Freshness comes with a price)

Overall : 90%


In the end, it just cost us RM 162.00 for 4 person.

I think it is a bargain!

The table beside us having a really interesting conversation with 1 of the waitress.


A : "Excuse me, where's the Grill Fish we asked your staff to pack?"
(Apparently, this table can't finish their Grilled fish so they ask to take away the leftovers)

Waitress: "OH! That was yours? I'm sorry, JUST NOW I THOUGHT THOSE FISH ARE THE LEFTOVERS FROM THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMER THAT DON'T WANT IT, I'VE THROW IT TO THE DUSTBIN..."

A : "..." -.-"

B : "Har???"

C : "@#$%!"

Waitress: "Do you want us to cook you another one??"

A,B,C : "No need, no need..."

Who will star in the next Batman movie?

After the HUGE success of the movie The Dark Knight, who can deny the great acting inside the movie. My idol Heath Ledger set the bar high with his "psychotic" performance and even out fame the hero himself^^(That's my boy)

& this movie brings a whole new perspective on the meaning of hero and the importance of villains in a movie.

.Seems like the audience DIG this kind of movie & it would be fool not to continue doing the trilogy.

.But who can outplay the performance done by Heath???
& more importantly, who will be in that new movie?

One thing for sure, our Knight-in-Dark-Armor (NO! Not shining armor) will be in the movie.

.Nope! The camera is not a new & sophisticated weapon in the future Batman movie, is just a normal camera with lens.

Guess who will be playing The Riddler in the third sequel?

Think, who really is good in acting and the world loves him for it...

Yup! Is none other than Johnny Depp himself ^^

See? Even Johnny is surprise when he got this role.

According to Sir Michael Caine, there will be another addition in the third Batman movie, a new villain, who is it? The penguin la!

You might ask "Who's that?" Well, for your info, that's Philip Seymour Hoffman, he won an oscar for his complex role in the movie Capote... Good actor, great addition to the team

& i heard that Angelina Jolie will be Catwoman. Wonder if this is true.

Another day at 100 yen...

Yeah! Another "wordfull" day with aunt at 100Yen shop.

In case you didn't know, 100 Yen shop is a place where they sell Japanese products ranging from hat, snacks, sweets, instant noodles, bowls, knife

to spatula(I think i'm spelling it right-.-")

And yes, they sell it with the price of 100 yen(so the exchange rate would be... i'm not sure)
But now I'm not sure as some products sold at Rm 4.99, some Rm 5.99 etc.
So, be careful lo!^^






& of course, in ss2's, we have the most important of all...

This ss2 100 yen shop had converted front part of the shop to include a small stall selling Charmy Snow Ice.

So me and aunt meet up at the store checking out some products they sold before we ended up ordering Snow Ice, it was our main target actually ^^

Well, there will be another day.

The Chocolate and Mango taste we've ordered. Taste awesome!

We have lots of laugh and..ahem..

I've only record the ones that stood out, too bad i accidentally left out the HBK.

But never mind, the Poppin boyz is really really good!!!

Their poppin and moves going to keep you entertain all the way...

& i found out from my friends(committee) that Poppin Boys was the group to watch, so i know who to focus, and they didn't let us down by winning the Round 1 and also the crowd favourite award.

Utar Inter Faculty Dance Battle 2008 has ended 'soundly' and definitely beautifully,

I have witness some really great performances from our lads in UTAR.

From Kampar, to my place PJ, go through Setapak and arrived to Sungai Long, our lads really spot on with their...

[1stly, i can't show the pictures yet as I'll be doing a news coverage on this event. So I'll upload some videos instead.]
[2ndly, i didn't upload ALL the videos because some i can't manage to tape it, & also because i think it is better to leave some unattended so it will lure people to come for the UTAR events in the future.]
[3rdly, it will take me some time to finish all the entry, so I'll upload this entry part by part, which means you'll see part 1, 2 and 3 for the same event]

Why showing all the eggs in the basket when you can show even more people with the 'unshown'(i tink tis is a new word-.-") eggs?





Intro~
This event was nothing like what I've experienced before in other events, especially the contestants...
It was super duper fun to watch them. Seriously!





The EMCEE!

Damn he's funny! ^^
Really natural!
& he's really good in grabbing the crowd's attention!
& he's damn bold with his word, which is a good thing until...
Well, i think there IS a part where he go kind of overboard.
But Hey! Who doesn't make mistake? (or is it?)





Then there was the organizing chairperson,
Jun Kit really showed his charisma on the stage today with his speech(kinna short), his MOVE! Honestly!
His move really rocks... Seems like he's a veteran as well!
No wonder he put his love for dancing to this event and successfully transform this love into something great! Thanks Jun Kit[& your helpers too^^]





Then there were the contestants, well, there would always be a place for the not-so-good type of contestants in a competition, but this was overshadowed by the great performances done by the other lads!

So, enough of 'cakaping', Let's get moving...



This was the performance of the team from PJ(my campus^^) It's them again! Last time i saw them, they were in the Talent Time, and now they have improved tremendously while still keeping their "crowd magnet" with them! good good...
Ohya! This team is called K-Tank.

They were 2nd place for 2 rounds! Impressively they can get TWO second place.

But personally, i think they should've won the 2nd round battle which is won by the Heart Breaker Kids(HBK).

But don't get me wrong, HBK was cool, in fact I'm the 1st that interviewed their group leader Chun Ming before the competition,
so i can say that I'm quite close to them & I'm surely root for them to win too.
But in terms of performance, i prefer K-Tank lol! & because his from my campus. haha!

Before this I had talk about the not-so-qualify groups right? Now here's the further explanation...

There was this team called...ahemD ...*cough*2*cough* D... Well... They basically brought the whole event down by their not-so-professional skills and technique.
 

But thanks to them, the audience can see the contrast between those good performers and the not.

Sorry ahemD...*cough*2*cough* D...
Try harder next time, make sure you are up to it.

Then, there was this wonderful group called bs4...or s4b... or sb4 or may be b4s...
This group, compare to the above, is much worst. The group above atleast have a good reason for performing below par(nt enaf training perhaps)

The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was really a Russian Gigantic Deadly Nuclear BOMB!
The special effect, the action, the HUMOR! The humors score a lot in this movie.
Really nice.

8.5/10 is my rating for it.

& I can't believe i didn't watch Dark Knight & Red Cliff first like how i planned and instead go for The Mummy. Damn Stupid man...

After my JR2 tutorial i've gone to PC201 for the DPS training, here we were doing the warm up exercise Eric asked us to do.

You see? We are loving it, smiles everywhere, but damn painful-.-"

Later part Eric started to teach us how to do make up, & Joy was the lucky one chosen to be the volunteer^^

We had our supper at Island Cafe here in ss2 since she madly wants to drink the Jasmine tea. So we ended up chatting all night there & other place till "dawn"... nearly...

It was a nice conversation & she purposely came so far just to yamcha with me...
