Before heading back to Boston Novie and I visited Old Settler's Park in Round Rock. The Bluebonnets were beautiful. I didn't want to take the chance that they would still be there in May so I grabbed my camera. Of course Novie had to taste the flowers, grass, weeds, and dirt. She didn't really like the way they tasted but she wasn't going to stop either! No wonder her Nana calls her "Yum-Yum Baby"!
While at home Novie had a playdate with her "Best Friend Forever" Cara. We started out at home and then walked to the neighborhood park. The weather was perfect for a picnic. The girls had a great time but they both let us know when it was naptime. We can't wait to get back to Texas for another date!
I am a little behind on updating from our trip home. We had such a great time visiting with all of our friends and family members. Novie had so much fun playing with her cousins Blake and Brooke. Then we packed up and headed to New Braunfels to visit with the Girard family, Chuck, Deanna, Caroline, and Sophie.
Novie wasn't sure what to make of Sophie. I think it was only the second time she has seen a baby younger than her! She had a blast with Caroline though (Caroline was playing shy and not in the picture.) She was so excited to have someone to entertain! Sophie was sweetly giving smiles and coos. It was so good to visit with them all. Hopefully we will be able to visit longer on our next trip! We are so glad that they live close by!
I wanted to share a few cute pictures of Novie. She had just gotten up from a nap and really wanted to go outside. We didn't get to swing because it was raining but she had fun watching the rain from the back porch.
