The forcast has been telling us that there would be snow on Saturday, but since we still had tomatos and pumpkins in our garden we really hoped they would be wrong. As it was Jason & I got an early start and got all the tomato plants in the garage, (its a jungle in there now!) awaiting another spare moment we might have to pick them. Jason got the rest of the garden cleaned out and tilled while I got the last lawn mowing of the season done. It did start to snow before I finished with the front lawn and snow coming down doesn't make the job any quicker! Mowing the lawn in the snow is an experience that shouldn't happen right? The snow seemed to quit as soon as I was done mowing the lawn, figures! It did snow through the night and was beautiful and white when we woke up this morning! The girls were so excited and could hardly wait for breakfast to be over before they were all bundled up and out the door.

We celebrated Scott's 9th Birthday at the Anderson Cabin over Labor Day Weekend. We had a great time with Grandma & Grandpa and most of our Anderson Aunts, Uncles & cousins. Scott's Birthday was on Monday, when we were coming home. Scott decided a stop at Albertson's for some pizza, cake & rootbeer would be great. He chose a 7 layer Strawberry Shortcake, very yummy!

Kate's 5th birthday was also in September. She had a Princess Tea Party with her friend Grace (in the pink shirt) to celebrate their birthdays together. How fun to have so many beautiful princesses around! They loved the tea party!
This was the day I picked our corn. In the background you can see a little bit of the garden. Jason & I love the garden! it is so fun to plan it together and even better when it is harvest time! I love being able to walk out there and just pick dinner! Corn on the cob, fresh tomatos, cumbers, zuchinni sauteed with onions. It is great!

The corn, not quite as tall as the trees!

The cherry tomato plants, and carrots down in front.
