i won my first scratchie on sunday!!! haha, small prize only, nothing much, but it's thrilling nonetheless, and addictive. i can tell i'm hooked on it alr...hee hee :) sg shud bring over such interesting games too, instead of 4D, and toto, and soccer.

there's about 1 month of sch left b4 exams start...sucky news. and thing is, i'm losing the motivation and drive to hit the books; everyday's juz spent slacking ard, nothing substantial accomplished.

my mum might be coming over soon to visit...drats...it's fun having her over to visit, giving me the excuse to go out and stuff, but having her over to 'watch' over my daily activites doesn't sound appealing at all! anyway, let's hope aussie dollar goes down a bit, so she can bring more money over for me, hee hee :)

it's the mid-sem hols now-halfway thru the sem. time really flies. next week, i'll be heading to brisbane-gold coast for a holiday!! i can't wait for it to arrive, i can alr feel how much fun i'm going to be having!!! it's the first time i haven't gone back during the hols; i think it's more ex to stay here than go back to sg, on hindsight now. heh :)



looking back on the term that juz ended, so many things have happened. fel and ck came over, they came to uni with me, crashed lect, shopping, eating, visiting weekend markets, then they left and school took over. lectures, tutes, eat, play, sleep, shop...1 week follows the next and b4 u realise it, the hols will be over as well. i've got assignments and tests coming up once the hols end...overly-enthusiastic tutors...

currently in melb now, visiting serene yeo!! we went to rod laver arena yst!!! oh man, it's super super cool!!! i wanna go for aussie open!!!! we walked into the changin rooms, the walkways...there were posters everywhere, every corner!! security was super laxed and we could walk freely thru a lot of places without anyone stopping us...dunno whether to call this luck or not, snow patrol were having a concert there yst night!! we would have been able to step onto rod laver centre court if not for the concert!! how cool would tt be??!!! me, stepping onto the court where the aussie open finals is held!!!! woohoo!!! though rod laver was outta bounds, we made it to magaret court-as consolation...

Before you

been back in syd for almost 2 wks. ck and fel came over to visit; did loads of things, ate loads of good food, and spent loads of money. felt kinda sad when they left, but i'm sure they'll be back again.

haven't spoken to serene on the phone in eons. feel kinda bad for neglecting her for so long. dun worry, i'll focus on my studies. heh. really miss talking to her, only she can come up with crap to laugh abt. i'm still childish after all.

shifted the furniture ard my room a bit. it's more spacious now, but i left the top and bottom deck of the bed separated. i think it's more comfy sleeping on the mattress.

sch's crap, so much workload building up alr. and the subjs this sem all seem pretty challenging.

been back for a few days alr. by a stoke of luck, my seat got upgraded and it's the most comfortable plane ride i had in ages...was only allowed to buy 1 bottle of vodka and 3 cans of beer.

slowly getting used to the weather alr. it's not as bad as i imagined it might be. did loads of shopping the past few days. retail therapy seems to be working for me recently. i feel happy pampering myself, haha :)

it's the last day of wimbledon tdy. women's side was disappointing...at least the men's finals look promising; it's going to be a tough battle tonight.

exams ended yst...can't believe the semester is over already. in abt 2 wk's time, i'll be jetting back to sunny sg.

this sem's been amazing compared to the last sem. having loads of fun, made new frens, new lifestyle, it's just very different from what i expected it to be at the start of the year. i'm already starting to have mixed feelings abt returning home, though home is 2 wks away.

anyway, i just made tempura for lunch earlier, though there wasn't sufficient time to truly savour my cooking, it tasted really yummy. not tryin to praise my own cooking here, but i can't rmb the last time i had tempura, which is prob why it tasted so heavenly.

once the exams are over for everyone, the kitchen's going to take 2nd place now. it's time to revisit the fish market and other food places abandoned for far too long. i muz make a trip back to lindt cafe for my choc addiction, choc haven there.

weather's been pretty sunny tdy, despite the cyclone warning. it's prob celebration for the last day of exams for everyone!!

it's father's day today. hopefully my sis'll rmb and do something.

weather's been really cold of late. think it's gonna be hard to adjust back to sg's climate.

looking forward to char coming over to visit, and strangely, looking forward to going back to sg as well...hols are too short, ending b4 it evn starts...
