Meet Polly
This is my awesome baby! She is now 8 months old and I am pretty sure she gets cuter by the second! We are so in love with her and feel so blessed that we are her parents. It has been so great having her around and watching her learn new things everyday. Right now she has been having a blast pulling herself up and standing. She smiles with the proudest smile every time she pulls herself up. Life with Polly is the best!

Feeling like summer
It has been WAY too hot lately! I know it is only April but I am already looking forward to September. One good thing about the heat is that it is bringing back a lot of memories of last summer! Here are a few pics of some of the things I am missing.
Sam- (I miss Patty's family but I don't have many pics of them since they lived far away)
Boating
Who ever thought I would miss Dufur?! I really do!
Chris! My wonderful Mother in-law! I LOVED living with them before we moved! She loves making funny faces!
Erica and her fun kids!
BBQ's at Dave's after a long day at the river then the boys jam sessions
Oh the mountains!!
Camping with Paul, Jenny, Paige, Maddie, Noah, and Ben (my BFF) and Luke
I miss Ben!
Going to the beach with Jake and watching him kite
The Roberts reunion
More jam sessions
The most tasty meals!
I am starting to get really sad looking at all these pictures!
This is what we did almost every Saturday right before we left. Lounging by the river.
More beach with Kari, Joe, Savannah & Wyatt
Family birthdays and holidays
Henry, Ingra & Jackson at family gatherings
And I just saw this picture while I was looking through and I miss my dark hair!!

.........
I have nothing to blog about and keep getting requests to update my blog. I have only taken about 30 pictures in the last 3 months and even though life has been crazy busy I cant think of anything to write.
Life is great! I have so much to be grateful for! I miss Oregon and the people there but someday we will be back!
Thats all I can think of.

Our NOT so Traditional Thanksgiving
We had a great time on Thanksgiving even though we didn't have any turkey or pie. We packed a lunch and headed to the beach. Our first stop of course was at the Pilot station. Oh and how lucky I have pictures to share of that adventure.
In the last five years of marriage we only have a few of our own traditions and one is that every Thanksgiving we walk to a quickie mart in the morning and we have corn dogs and Mt Dew. This year we unfortunately were not hungry yet so we skipped the dogs and just enjoyed the soda. I did take a picture because they were looking pretty tasty! Actually corn dogs are always pretty nasty in my opinion. But that doesn't stop me from eating the occasional dog. I have to take that back because Paul (Jakes brother) makes a pretty fantastic corn dog. I cant believe how long I can talk about corn dogs!
Here is the tunnel that goes under water that we had to drive through. Apparently I have a slight phobia of tunnels that go under water! Just thinking back to it makes me tense!
This was our first time going to the beach since we have been here. The sun was out and it was pretty warm. It felt weird to have the sun behind us. Jake surfed and I took pictures of him surfing. I know everyone was wondering where he got that awesome wood board. Well he made it! He is so talented!
This sign just cracks me up. These signs were all up and down the main street.
Where did November go?!
So in the last month we have not done anything too excited but at the same time it has been a very busy month and I cant believe it is already December! Ill share the highlights ( the only things I can remember or took pictures of)
We celebrated our FIVE year anniversary! I cant believe it has already been five years but I also cant believe it has only been five years. How about a before and after picture to show how we have aged!
Before:
After: Not the greatest picture of us but each year we seem to take less pictures with us in them. The only thing that has really changed is that we live on the other side of the country!
The day after our anniversary we walked around Maymont park in the morning, ate lunch at our new favorite place five guys ( we had to make up for the nasty BBQ we had the night before) and then we went for another walk around Church Hill. I would love to live up there. It is so beautiful and has the most amazing houses. Unfortunately I left the camera in the car for that walk.

I love getting Mail!
The best thing about living 2,962 miles away from friends and family is getting packages! Here is the latest one we have recieved. Thanks Paul, Jenny, Paige, Maddie, Noah, Ben, and Luke!
Tomatoes and pumpkin seeds are from their garden. The apples are from Hood River (my favorite place ever) and the cherries are from Dufur. Thanks!
