Hobby/Business?

I really enjoy making crafts and I have started painting and decoupaging crosses or other wooden items. B cuts my objects out and he does a wonderful job. I made a few things for friends and teachers. Now I am considering doing this as a small business. There probably isn't a huge market for this unless I go to craft shows but I really enjoy it and it is something I can do out of my home.

Wheel Chair Basketball

B has a cousin that is in a wheel chair due to spina bifida. She is 16 years old and lives in Houston. This cousin is on a basketball team and they played in Tulsa this past weekend. We went to see them and it was really neat. J loved watching them. He really got into it. In fact, J asked if we could go to more wheel chair basketball games. This was such a great experience!

Dog situation

Okay, I know some of you will get a laugh out of this. Our new dog is really weird. I mean REALLY weird. He is 6 months old and doesn't have any of the typical puppy behaviors except for chewing. We try taking him on walks and we have to drag him out of the doghouse. He keeps trying to run back to the house while we are on the walk so he can get back in the doghouse. We call him and he won't come. He avoids us. My husband decided I wasn't spending enough time with the dog when he is out of town. He told me I needed to pet the dog every day. The neighbors must think I am crazy because I have to crawl in the doghouse to pet the dog. I finally convinced my husband that this abnormal behavior isn't going to cut it so he called the breeder and they said he could return him and get a new puppy that was born just 18 days ago. We have to wait until he is 8 weeks old but the kids are hoping for a dog that likes to run and play.

J finally lost 2 teeth

J has been behind the curve on losing teeth. His friends have lost more teeth than him and he was so excited to lose 2 teeth. One day he was speaking and his tooth just fell out of his mouth. He had such a shocked look on his face. The next day he let his dad pull the other loose tooth. We have one happy snaggled tooth boy!!

K is thankful

K had to write a paper about thanks for her third grade class.

First, I am thankful for classmates because they cheer me on. Second, I am really thankful for God because He made me. Third I am glad for freedom because it let's me do what I want to. Last but not least I'm thankful for my body parts so I can have all five senses.
