end of 2008 – Fun time without kids is over. Now is fun time with kids, orright?!
April 2009 – BFP on first try. Wow, I am gods’ favourite, ain’t I?
May 2009 – On the 25th there was a heartbeat. On the 29th there was none. I join the Loss Club, very exclusive club, for whose membership you have to pay in blood and a piece of your own heart.
June 2009 – On the 2nd I have the D&C. I am numb for quite some time after this.
July 2009 – Start blogging.
September 2009 – Blah, blah, mastitis, blah, blah, drug-free colonoscopy, blah, blah, turn 34.
Nov. 29th, 2009 – Here is a positive HPT for you, Mina. Step up to the roller-coaster #2.
Dec. 2009 – Light bleeding. Light cramping. Pass a clot. Heartbeat at 6w2d.
Jan. 2010 – Bleeding episode again. Baby is 2.31 cm (at ~ 9w0d, ) and shown flapping arm buds on u/s. At 10w1d – 4.12 cm.
NT scan scheduled for 11w5d. Baby is 5.7 cm, NT 1.4.
Febr. 2010 – Spotting at 13w4d. Darn! But the baby is bouncy and all seems well.
March 2010 – Gestational Diabetes. &%*~#*…
3.25 – 20w scan shows a perfect, flawless little boy. GD is kept in check. I could get used to news like this.
June 2010 – We celebrate 4 years of marriage and our present consists of two movies with the baby blinking and sucking his thumb. He weighs 1.632 grams at 32 weeks. He is no giganto baby and I am a happy momma. At the end of the month, the diabetes doctor drew a smiley in my sugar blood notebook, that happy she was with my successful efforts to keep GD under control.
July – The first week of July is the last of the 8th month of pregnancy. There are now 5 weeks left. The baby is still a boy and growing strong. I start learning lullabies.
August – Induction on Aug 11th. Baby G. comes after a 5 hour long labour (lucky, I know). He is 56 cm long and weighs 3750 gr. He is perfect.
August 2010 – August 2011 this is the year during which I sleep no more than three hours at a time. But George is the sweetest baby toddler I could have ever imagined, so we are all good. Other events of relative importance this year are the return of my period six months after giving birth (exciting social life if this counts as an event) and George starts walking at nine months.
Oct. 25, 2011 – positive HPT. Best birthday present ever.
July 5th, 2012 – Stevie is born, after a 4.5 h labour, in the birthing pool. Hippie mother earth is happy. 🙂
Praying all goes well with the pregnancy, Mina! Good Luck!
What lullabies are you planning to sing to Junior?
Funny enough, I only know the first stanza of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
I know no other lullabies. I tried to learn some in my language, and a couple of days later, I realised I forgot them. 😉
BUT – he likes Ol’ Blue Eyes. Just like his mummy. I hope that works in the long run, because I know a lot of Frank’s songs.
LOL, get rid of that pregnancy ticker…it says you are 46 weeks pregnant!
I am the elephant in the room, my dear. I will give birth to a child who will walk to the fridge and ask what has George done with the milk. 🙂
